No transformer needed . just plag and e voila .
Perfect for wardrobes . no hassles
Suppose you buy something at Lidl and it breaks, what is the best strategy to get it sorted out?
Follow the instructions in the manual - usually contact the manufacturer. Within a year the store must handle the request for you (though they may try to direct you to the manufacturer - reality is they don't want the hassle, and truth is you'll probably get a repair quicker - but may incur postal charges).
I had a jet wash break and they just refunded me without even seeing the receipt!
As for these, a bit messier but I've grabbed some of the 5m adhesive backed LED strips off ebay. I've previously made a window display with them quite successfully and shall be doing under cabinet lights with them too once I figure out where to feed the power from. If you are willing to wait you can usually get a strip at auction for £3ish and they use standard 12v power so I used an old router power supply.
Probably better using these for wardrobes.

LED Strip light with motion sensor - Battery powered £5.99
The warranty is provided by the manufacturer. Unless otherwise stated the store has no obligation to provide a guarantee or act as a third party between you and the manufacturer.
Well they DO, satellite TV box cost 40 odd quid and only lasted about 2 months. Took it back and they told me to get lost.
Terrible advice. The retailer is primarily liable under contract law, specifically the Sale of Goods Act 1979
The store has every obligation during the first year, they cannot make you contact the manufacturer yourself. Often you will want to, with some things its a lot easier, but in no way are you obligated to chase a refund/repair yourself. Your contract is with the supplier, not the manufacturer.
Need another pair.
Gradually changing over to these in the kitchen as my ikea ones fail.
These are lovely.
There are none in store.
Are they likely to come back round again?
