Looking for a laptop for my daughter, would anyone recommend this

Id like advice on this to please would it be suitable for my 11 year old for homework

Will it run roblox?

Just had a look and I believe the CPU in this is the ye olde Intel Atom Z3735F. I have two tablets using this processor (HP Stream 7 & VOYO A1). Not the best in the world, but it's fine for the basics. But seriously not worth this price here IMO.

It's good for the basic work and browsing (Intel atom has a basic abilities).

Absolutely awful laptop in every way.

Terrible fuzzy tiny screen, dog slow processor, insufficient memory for anything more than a couple of tabs open, Windows constantly caches from memory due to the limitation....using this machine even for basic tasks was a hideously unpleasant experience.

If you're going backpacking across the world, something like this might be okay (though £180 for it is ridiculous), otherwise AVOID because there are many other laptops that are significantly better for the same price.

ICE COLD.

The EZBook 3 Pro is light years better than this. Use the search function on here.

I bought my son a Chromebook and he loves it. He uses it mainly to watch Youtube, Facebook, email etc ...
You can pick up a refurbished one for around £99 if you keep an eye on here.

Bonus, you don't have to worry too much about viruses etc... on a Chromebook. It turns on lightning fast and battery lasts between 8 to 10 hours.

No doubt you're trying to help but without knowing what he's got your comments are pointless.

Could you recommend something better around the £250 mark, that has a touchscreen?

Not really. Most people know what a Chromebook is or can least look it up.

True, as he/she didn't state her uses in the question.
So I gave 1 use case for him/her to consider.

I know what a car is - but I also know they aren't all the same.
