if you leave anytime during the year do they let you back in again?

Shame i don't live closer as this is an awesome deal.
Is this (the Local bit) legal under EC law?
Thanks we will make use of this
They do this every year & I can confirm there are no catches just good value. Don't forget to take ID & a utility bill etc
Hot because I live in Devon.
Cracking value, terrific place to visit.... pity I live 500 miles away.
Well worth a visit
SHHH....... Don't tell everyone.
i am going to move to cornwall just to et this deal
Cracking deal, sadly I am 522 miles away. Pants.
loving life in north devon
339 miles for me. I am determined to visit here and The Lost Gardens of Heligan one day. Just checked their website and they are doing visit all year for £20, normally £10 per adult per visit.
You can get a discount by going to the ticket desk for those who walked in. I'm not sure how exactly they tell if you walked in or took the car as everyone who gets off the shuttle bus then goes through the same entrance as those walking.
We do this every year and it's done to "give something back to locals" as they put it. Worth it for the ice skating season alone. Cheers OP!!
Thanks for the info

Wasn't this funded by the lottery?

I've been here and it was very interesting, I recommend Adding heat.
Been twice this year, even living 300 miles away, well worth a visit, brilliant place. Eden Sessions worth it also if you can make them

With property prices in Cornwall being what they are, I'd hapilly move into one of the cabins in the tropical biome!

Cracking deal, go for it every year (only 7 miles away).

Eden's great.

'This is a local biome for local people. We don't want any trouble here'
I went 2 weeks ago and they ask if you pay tax. If you say yes then they ask if you want to offset a donation against your tax? I'm not sure how it works.

Anyway, they guy told me that even if you say no it gives them the option on the computer of asking you if you want a years membership for free (or price to get in once). So i got a years membership for 15 pounds (that was the student price).

So I'm sure if you ask you will get a years membership too. Hope it helps someone.

Um I have done this for past three year's, and have never know it to include the ice skating!

Thou I can say when I went back in september it was'nt that bus. Thou brings all sorts of people there, and never thought I be having a lovely chat with young lady as I left. Good sport, shame I got another four months left on mine anaul pass.

damn im only 30miles from devons border!
Excellent deal. I love the Eden Project. I don't live in Devon any more but my parents will definitely use this offer. Thanks for sharing.
Just sent my mate a text as he moves to Bude today.(_;)
Great deal. They run it every year. Yes, you can get in free for the rest of the year by gift aiding your £5 entry fee. Been 3 times this year. Great VFM. Great for us Devon & Cornwall folks too... makes a change - highest water bills, high property prices, miles from everywhere - oh wait, that last one is a positive!!
Gawd, I hated this place, IMO it shouldn't be anymore than a fiver for a years admission anyway! Go down the garden centre in a thick coat, on the busiest day ever, and you'll get exactly the same experience.
calm down calm down its just a bloody greenhouse
It's an expensive rip off that unless you book online costs the average "punter" alot more money!
I really enjoyed it the 1st time (unaware) then we went back in march after a funeral to look around & show our daughter as things had obviously changed in 3 years, having trekked over there the price for admission was stupid, great to have this £5 local deal, & I would have liked to have known about the walker tip! ..had to explain to nipper it was now stupidly piced for something that was heavily subsidised by the taxpayer via the national lottery.

& their saffy buns are rotten too! we went down to the beach on a rainy day & had a whale of a time regardless, just wished they were clearer & less of a bunch of con artists with regards to admission.
got to vote with your feet.
Been once, boring as hell, never again. Not if you paid me.
Don't forget to take photo ID with your address on it (eg passport or driving licence) to prove that your primary residence is in Cornwall or Devon.

Skating is back on now and is extra.

I'm not wild on the Eden Project but we do usually go down once a year, after the holiday-makers have mainly gone.
No hippies, they dont grow drugs in there.

I was hoping there'd be another dissenting voice cos I also didn't like it at all. Dull as ditchwater.
I thought I was the only HUKD member in Cornwall Used to work at Eden a long time ago. Ice skating was fun!
The offer states you have to bring photo I'D and a utility bill. Just thought I'd pop that in to prevent fisticuffs at the desk. Only been once, its ok (got in free) I would class it as a pleasent walk rather than a "day out". It also says skating is an extra £5 each.

Nice, good to hear i'm not alone down here! I should really get this deal I can literally walk there.
If you've never been, it's worth going to tick it off the list of cool places to visit. We got in in the Summer with the Gardener's World 2 for 1 offer; rest assured I'd have been GUTTED if I'd paid full entry price. It's an amazing feat of engineering, and it's interesting to look at stuff and marvel at how they've managed to grow big tropical things in the UK, but it was jam packed, hot and sweaty, and TBH unless you have an avid interest in plants and the patience of a saint (eg can tolerate being basically shoved around the place by the volume of people in there), there's not much else to see ... and the food hall is a big fat expensive rip off.

Highlight for me was the fact the Park and Ride buses/carparks were named after fruit lol

"Can passengers for Mango please get off here ... this is the Mango stop" ...
