we did a membership for christmas last year for our boy

its useless

from what i can work out you can only get tickets at the beginning of the season

so buying any of these types of packages is useless once after august

for £12 its still worth it for the bits you get in the box and :

I bought mine using clubcard vouchers this year - you can get tickets all year round, just don't expect to get the big 4 as season ticket holders and/or veteran members card holders will always buy out the allocation! Useful if you fancy following the reds on a cup run too as there is the auto cup scheme that guarantees you a home ticket to each match

another cold post prob manu fans. i got the newcastle membership for free which was planning to buy this week for £35 hoping helps others out who didnt know about tesco doing it.

Not true, you get the option of buying tickets before the general sale for each home game and also they have another members sale for the whole of the second half of the season either just before or just after Christmas.

Voted hot as my membership was more that that for the basic package that just gives you a members card.
