I think these have just recently started. There is lots of availability for £9 each way.

Also available from many ther UK cities to Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels

Otherwise, the most available price seems to be around the £25 mark.

Downside is travel time is just under 15 hours going there and just over 15 hours coming back. However they are night journeys so you might get some kip.

Also, some nice scenery for the daylight hours and I think the trip will be made more interesting with the ferry-ride in between.

    Leeds or Yorkshire?

I once did Liverpool - London followed by London - Munich and back on my own as a 16 year old child. Was a journey and a half. This looks a doddle in comparison. Cheers OP.

I was thinking of going to visit my friend in Cardiff as she has not been well. From Sunderland (my nearest pick up point) to Cardiff is £10 return!

Takes longer than driving, but a lot cheaper than a tank full of fuel. Thanks for posting - bargain. Heat added

I done Belfast - Paris and back again as a schoolchild by coach with a delayed boat in Dunkirk followed by a 24 hr wait without sleep in Liverpool. This drive is a doddle.

15 hours on a coach? No thanks. It's cheap for a reason.

I did this trip once, never again. One of the most distressing experiences I've ever had, and not just because we stopped in enfield briefly.
Horribly uncomfortable, don't even think about it

Nothing more fun than a coach ride. Book your out and return leg back to back, you don't even have to get off!

I did southampton to leeds as a teenager and it was, to this day, the worst thing i have ever suffered. That maybe means ive had an easy life, but i did once get a golf club snapped round my throat and that was a barrel of laughs in comparisson. 9 hours meandering up through every backwater you could name, and several you couldnt. As that classy bird from geordie shore says, 'id rather s*** in my hand and clap'.

The prices for the next half of the year should be up soon if you fancy waiting, should be even cheaper but good deal

14hrs 40mins Liverpool to Paris and 15hrs 30mins for the return. One would have to be really desperate or perhaps stupid to even contemplate taking this journey, ON A COACH.

And I can't say anything better for the itinery dianneNE (#4) has posted. Who on earth would want to end up anywhere at midnight after an 8 and a half hour journey with a forward journey to look forward to!

Is there a good way to search for cheap fares instead of just putting any and every date in?

I drove to Paris in August from Cumbria..2 x tankfuls of petrol each way ..total £220 and numerous road toll charges, so roughly £270 in my own car,, although i got loads of booze in car on way back

My dad used to drive us to the South of France and back on A-roads all the way just to avoid the motorway tolls!

Can no one take a bit of banter these days.. Would have to listen to all the reds talking about the glory days and talking repeats on the history channel lol

Would much rather fly from Liverpool than catch this coach with the hours of boredom, food and drink stops..
This deal is only for those whose priority is low cost, once you get to Paris it's an expensive city

£18.50 return is an amazing low price and should be red hot.The journey time is long but if you have plenty of time on your hands its well worth it.
