False advertising - this hotel is not in the Peak District, it's in the Manchester commuter town of Bollington. Cold.

yorkypikey

We stayed there a few weeks ago and had a lovely view.........of a brick wall ! As would the other half dozen rooms on the ground floor on that side of the corridor .

M1LFHunter

Huh, I have taste thank you, I only drink Asti as it's so dry.

You could always ask for a glass of black tower as a substitute - tell them you’re allergic to bubbles?!

I'd have gone for this if you hadn't mentioned prosecco.

I have the unlimited membership, and it allows me me to access over 100 different locations, at any time.

itchyone

When I've used pure gym in the past when joining you select a gym. You're then assigned a pin to access that gym. I'm guessing the unlimited refers to unlimited visits to that specific gym during the membership period.

adil171

Surely a happy ending aswell with that price (annoyed) (angel) :/

discodave

Does it mean you can use ANY PureGym location when it says "Unlimited" as opposed to a single PureGym location.

If you can get a refund i would pretty much can’t use it on any film

trudie84

The code shows as redeemed although I don't know how I done it lol. I'll try message them again and also try via Facebook. Thanks :)

nseaman

Shocking aren’t they you get one code at first that you have to redeem (if you haven’t done this you can get a refund) if you have redeemed you are meant to get an email with 5 codes which I didn’t get i have it now after emailing from memory select reasons as other, so you don’t just get an automated reply I also messaged them on Facebook

trudie84

I still have no clue how to get this to work despite emailing them. I've received a code with a link to vue website yet when I click on the link, it says invalid code. Can you help as Living Social don't respond 😩

Gozer

Living Social finally came back to me and flatly refused to give any refund or credit. The email response is obviously a standard one and doesn't recognise that the site listing was misleading simply stating that I had picked a wrong film. I hadn't picked any film and didn't say I had in my email to them. I'm avoiding this company and Wowcher at all costs from now on.

Really good day out here. We went last summer. My 5 year old struggled as she was slightly too small to do most of it. Perfect for 7-11 year olds though.

jayonline85

Great place this, went last year. 4 different runs to complete, if you look at the picture, run 1 is on the right which is the easiest and gets you warmed up. My advice is to skip the 3rd run as by the time you have done 1 and 2 your body is tiring. I struggled to complete runs 1,2 and 4 and I’m into fitness. It’s more your hand grip that fails you, you’ll be surprised how much strength it takes out of your forearms.

Rob.

That's flipping awesome! Gutted it's so far from me though.

As long as the dogs are well looked after out with the runs then it's a great way to exercise a breed bred for this . The ones to feel sort for are those getting 5 minutes round the communal garden.

SLR84

Not only do i have 3 Huskies myself but i also run a Siberian Husky rescue, those saying working a working dog is cruel clearly know absolutely nothing about the breed! They LOVE it, i can assure you the dogs that we take in to rescue who haven't been walked for years, have massively overgrown nails and don't know how to interact with other dogs would much prefer the working life! Huskies do not do anything that they don't want to do, maybe research the breed ;)

The ones destroyed for injuring a hock? There's a freezer at the race tracks for the cadavers. The lucky ones deposited at rescues to be rehomed? I wonder if someone is going to Costco Haydock over the next few days can do me a huge favour and take a photo of a massive pothole on the way out - I believe it's on the junction of Andover Road and Salisbury Road (corner of LDK German Kitchens). Unfortunately as I went through the pothole on Wednesday damaged my tyre and also the tracking, I should have stopped and taken a photo etc but I was in a rush and as an idiot I didn't! Unfortunately I'm not from the area to visit back as I was merely passing Haydock and thought I'd call buy to get my membership sorted!

mchu6am4

I've finally managed to get to a Costco (Haydock) to sign up for the membership, all went okay except they didn't give me the £20 online voucher! I did ask but they said not part of this deal! Not sure if it's worth emailing customer services or complaints! As a bonus on the way out I came across a big (huge in fact) pot hole and damaged my £60 tyre so costly membership and I've not bought anything from them yet!

mchu6am4

Anyone got this at be Manchester store as I've purchased the voucher but not redeemed yet?

I thought it was a good price for what you got however I agree it was very dated in some areas including and especially our rooms. The wallpaper was hanging off. The pool area was nice and the evening meal and breakfast were lovely. The afternoon tea was disgusting and the drinks were expensive. Overall a mixed review.

MrShed

Surprising how people’s experiences differ! Been here for food and for the spa - the entire hotel in my opinion is significantly dated, dirty, food was very poor, and a really unenjoyable experience. The restaurant smelt of pee! Still a good price though ;)

or you could try Airsoft, not as cheap as this deal but over a day will be much cheaper and less painful!

uberjuba

if you want the best prices then call your local independent site for the best deals. cut out the middleman and save by buying a package deal up front. expect to use 1000 paintballs minimum for a full day and 500 on a half day. as for ajeks suggestion, not all sites run walkons and not all that do run rentals with them. on another note, not all rental players will enjoy going up against people with their own kit. it's like pitting a newborn kitten against a full grown tiger in a fight to the death. not always fun for your average punter. for anyone interested though, as ajak said, nottingham skirmish will allow rentals to play and npf paintballs monthly diamond wars series http://www.npfbassettspole.com/diamondwars/ disclaimer: as stated above, you will be fighting against and alongside experienced players. do so at your own risk ;)

wonkothesane

Paintballing + Lunch = Food fight? :)

dewonderful

Luxury. When I went, they guy had a few dozen hotdogs in luke warm water and only a few asda bread rolls to put them in. Pretty disgusting. They should really call it paintballing with food poisoning for £10

Ajek

if you really want to enjoy paintball, then you will need at least 750 to 1000 paintballs per game. paintball sites ripping people off by charging 5-7 quid per 100 as box of 3 star G.I Sportz paint cost around 27(2000 paintballs).I use around 150 balls just to chrono my marker ...Cheaper option - walk on and rent equipment. For example - Notthingham Skirmish monthly walk on will cost you 45 pounds including 2000 paintballs and 4.5k fills
