Called the hotel up to check what is available for 3-course dinner, as we are restricted, couldn't provide a menu as it varies. I even asked what has been on recent weeks but was told that information wasn't to hand... strange

The deal is available direct from hotel at same price, but I still went through living social as get % back through TCB/Quidco

Called up again to book but was told had to pay £15 extra to upgrade room as standard room had sold out

At this price there making a killing

The first mystery to solve would be why anyone would want to spend the night in Grantham.

Well its actually in Leicestershire and the closest city is Nottingham. The nearest destination people are likely to know is East midlands Airport.

PS. When driving down the main street don't speed as they often do speed checks.

This is an excellent hotel with facilities, closer to the airport than Derby. Marcos is very nice. So hot deal

I've put in York city centre as start of point, there is buses out but nearest bus stop on a route from York is going be 40 mins walk when you nearer to bird centre. I just checked on Google maps, alternatively look on moovit and start off your destination to the bird of prey centre and it might bring up better options.
