great price

nice one

good price

Good Price,

I bought one of these, good bit of kit!

I bought one a few weeks back at the "full" half price(!)

Very pleased with it - the choice of cuff size included is excellent for a machine at this price, the right size being essential to get good reading.

I already own one of these which I bought at the 'full' price. Similar products in Boots are £30-40

Are these in store at £7.49?

Yes they were last week depends if they will have stock

Great price. Don't forget quidco or topcashback at 6%.

I take medication to control my blood pressure. I use a machine at home to measure my BP, as every time I go into the surgery I seem to have white coat syndrome i.e. my BP is a lot higher than normal.

Just for peace of mind I took my home machine in and checked it against the calibrated device used by the nurse at my local surgery. The readings matched. The nurse logged this onto their system and my GP is now happy for me to take a list of home readings whenever I have a medication review.

Is this accurate though? I have a slightly high BP and my doctor recommend if I was going to get a BP monitor at home that I should only go for Omron or Braun.

See my post above - check the calibration against a professional device. If it is not accurate you can return it to Lloyds as "unfit for purpose".

For professional use, the British Hypertension Society produce a list of approved devices. See the list at bhsoc.org/bp_…stm - note, not every Braun or Omron is on the list so your GP's comment is slightly misleading. Lloyds dearer device at £14.99 is on the list.

I have one of these bought it in a Lloyds store a year ago for £9.99 with a large cuff was on a deal then. They are accurate enough. I am an Medication for high bp and its now down from a high of 192/128 (most of the time) to a reasonable 135-125/90-80 at the age of 30. I am not fat and had every test known to man they have no idea why I had such high bp. They reckon I am a picture of health normal blood tests and I have had a lot of those. Humm.

good price, voted hot

Nice one - good deal.

Have just ordered one.

Have had weird palpitations and 'un-easyness' in the chest region for a while now and wouldn't mind being able to monitor my BP to see if there is any correlation.

OK this BP monitor arrived today and it's all good ...

1. you get a lot for your money with this unit, it doesn't feel cheap in any way

2. the cuff is well made and should last, you get a choice of 3 cuff sizes when ordering

3. excellent pressure through the cuff as it inflates you really feel it

4. very easy to set-up & use, with a large digital display

5. memory function stores your last 15 tests

6. excellent user guide

I don't know how they sell them at this price
