Crashed whilst processing payment for me.

HUKD

same here...during pp payment of all things

its a nonsense product.

Just ordered, no problems

Potentially a bit dangerous. High blood pressure is sometimes called the silent killer. By all means use this as a first test to see of you have high blood pressure but.... These machines are not reliable. They depend on too many factors to give a reliable reading. More importantly, under no circumstances use this with the excuse of doing a few exercises to ignore high blood pressure or worse still, to make adjustments to any existing medication . If you think you have high blood pressure go to the doctor.

Paypal woundnt work last week,,card payments ok.

4% Quidco

I couldn't complete the order by PayPal, seems to have gone through on Mastercard though - eventually.

I have high blood pressure for which I am being treated and thought this is worth a try, especially at this price. I agree with higwayman8155, get your doctor to check and monitor your blood pressure and do what you can yourself as well. Whatever you do, don't ignore it hoping it will get better, it almost certainly won't without some sort of action, be that drugs or lifestyle changes.

Hot deal, thanks OP.

Very cheap and good to have. Might want to consider an Omron, which Asda usually sell for a tenner (basic model, but well-tested brand)

'' Blood pressure LOWERING system??'' HOW?. This is complete misrepresentation. This will just measure your blood pressure not lower it!!This is a wrist measuring system and usually not as accurate as the arm ones.Think before you buy.(I am a Dr)

hmmm stuck trying to pay

got my two last week.
going to give one to my dad other to father in law.

This isnt a blood pressure monitor, it plays music to calm you down and lower you blood pressure over a long period.

Me too

As srp11 says it does NOT measure blood pressure. I cancelled my order for this reason alone.
Why not just sit down, switch on the radio and listen to classical music to calm you down with breathing excerises.
What else does this do?

Or try yoga.

You are incorrect this is not a blood pressure monitor that is completely different.... This unit has a chest monitor to monitor your breathing, a pair of headphones and the unit itself.... You plug the chest monitor and headphones into the unit and then you will hear a voice telling you when to breathe in and breathe out.. I think it supposed to be 6 times per minute so 5 secs in 5 secs out.. It also plays relaxation music while you are listening to the voice and after you get in sync with the breathing the voice will stop...

What's the point? It will make your blood pressure higher while trying to buy and lower when you have it No bother to buy, you'll still have fiver in the pocket.

I think this was about Intercure's RESPeRATE device being used as the source of the data used in the CE self certification. I have no idea if either of them actually had a standard to comply to, hence the term 'literature review' which for many technical support documents amounts to little more than anecdotal evidence.

Still, extremely informative though my own suggestion for lowering blood pressure would be to set fire to a copy of The Daily Mail every afternoon

There are lots of free resources on the web that will do the same. Try the Insight timer app for free guided meditations or the Destressify app.

Even so, relaxing will only lower your blood pressure temporarily. If it is high you need to make lifestyle changes like exercise, losing weight, cutting out salt, or go on medication.

Website is useless

Ordered at 11:10am, got despatch email at 12:40pm, So far so good.

oos

I heard about this a good while ago on a science podcast and it's not mumbo jumbo or meditation. If you take six breaths or less per minute and do it for 10 to 15 minutes at a time it's shown to lower your blood pressure and the effects aren't transient, especially if you do it long term. You might have to train yourself to do it but that's only a breath every 10 seconds. I can do every 25 seconds no bother, but then again my resting heart rate is below 50 so maybe I'm an oddball to start with - actually take the maybe out of that.

It is a suppliment to medication but has the same reduction level as doing exercise like running.
