You can see on the iPlayer page for each show the minimum of how long it will be available for - most still have months to go.

The trouble with iplayer, itv hub and sky boxsets is that 2 and half season into a show it dissappears, for a random amount of time by then your on to a different show. At least Netflix and amazon keep them on for over a year.

People subscribing to Britbox saying "damn.......if only "
I use iPlayer a lot and those Boxsets are the same ones that have always been there. Theres nothing there that wasn't already.

I was hoping for Wonders of the Universe but that's still locked away behind a subscription. BBC being a bit sleezy with this promotion off the back of coronavirus.

Does HD = 720p according to the BBC?

I can’t get it to play at any higher quality. What’s going on?

Yes, think it is maximum of 720P 50fps, though I'm not sure if the 50fps if just for sports, as 25 is usually more common for TV shows and films in UK. The only exception is the (very limited) test 4K shows like nature documentaries, if they even still have them up.

Always thought it was odd that the BBC jump from 720P to 4K (albeit very little available) and seem to forget that 1080P exists, which for most is the best compromise between quality and required speed....

So, things that the public have paid for with via their TV licence are now available again to those who paid for them ?

Not mocking the deal though. I'm sure a lot of people will benefit.

When you buy a car/house, and then sell it on, do you go to the new buyer and ask them to let you still use it because you paid for it once?
Free? Try paying for pretend TV licence
I have stopped paying the licence fee. Do you reckon i could watch the programs i helped produce that were made before i stopped. Lol

No, because they have given me an amount of money for it. Pathetic trolling.

That's exactly how TV shows work. Rights are sold on.

Easily solved.
