Annoyingly I booked my train tickets last weekend and paid £40 more 😔😔

what it like Vs plane, is there big ques on euro star

Planes go woosh woosh in the sky, this go toot toot unda da sea.

And no, there are no queues on the Eurostar. You're allowed to sit down in the seat you've booked.

far superior to plane in my opinion and not only for the custom speeds but the luggage allowance is exceptional as is the comfort of even the basic seats. Its chav free as well so no budget airline divs in sight.

Does anyone know how i can view the cheapest prices from Ashford to Amsterdam? Thanks
Shame you have to go into London to catch it. Cesspit . Mostly foreigners trying to mug you

I used eurosnap £39 each way. Couldn't find the £25 seats. You could end up taking the first train 5:40am no underground runing . Read t&c before you pay.
Before paying
if you don’t need a lot of Luggage.
Then this is a faster and cheaper way to go.

I'm keen to book a couple of Standard Premier tickets to Avignon or Marseille around June time. What is likely to happen to pricing between now and nearer the time? Only go up or will there be opportunites to grab a deal?

Yes and the ,French don't talk about it they buy themselves a yellow tee shirt!!!!
Nice price! So hot that I’ve booked for May trip only £136 for 2 persons

It’s not faster for me to travel from c. London to Luton (1.5hr drive off peak - 2.5hr peak) then queue for bag xrays and passport control then waiting for the delayed flight with thousands of other budget airline travellers. Then there’s the trek into Paris at the other end.

With Eurostar I’m leaving on the train within 30 mins of arriving at the station. Plus I can bring my own booze and food and have my own champagne breakfast on the train. Then the train arrives in the centre of Paris - a far more pleasant experience.
Don't forget to factor in the £300 return to London from anywhere in The North.
OP what do you mean Loads of train tickets to EUROPE ???
Are we not in the continent of Europe?
Couldn't you've have just said the countries the trains are going?
Exactly the kind of rhetoric that make other Europeans misunderstand us. ...

You can get cheap travel to London as part of your Eurostar ticket if you buy it at the same time. So you can get much cheaper than £100 for that journey, even if it's not available on other train booking sites for the time you want.

If you have already booked the Eurostar ticket then you can call their sales line and add on the domestic travel.

There's a special destination they use for this called "London International CIV". If your ticket is to this destination then your whole journey is linked together so if any of your trains is late or cancelled through no fault of your own they will get you on the next train even if your original ticket was for a specific train at a specific time.

how much is it to get a return tickets to Brussels?

The good thing about Eurostar tickets to/from Brussels is that they are valid for onward travel anywhere in Belgium without paying any extra, on the same date that is printed on your Eurostar ticket. So for example you can buy Eurostar to Brussels then get a regular intercity or regional train from there to Bruges or anywhere else you want to visit without needing to buy another ticket in Belgium.
I will take a look later !!!

Those are different types of ticket. If you wanted to buy a walk up fare from London to Paris it costs a lot more than £145. You just need to make sure you buy the British train travel at the same time as the Eurostar travel on the Eurostar site (put your local station in the from box, rather than London) or buy cheap advance domestic tickets (beware if you don't buy the tickets together as a single journey you don't have the right to travel on the next train if your connection is delayed)

An open return is a walk up ticket and is even more eye watering on Eurostar!

They talk about going to Europe on the Eurostar like it's a quick day trip and a cheap way to spend a weekend. I can never wrap my head around it. For us it would cost the better part of £200 for the both of us just to get TO the Eurostar and probably a fair few hours worth of trains and inevitable "rail replacement" coaches. We would love to give it a go but it just isn't economical for anyone north of Birmingham.Brilliant deal for anyone who can make it work though!

There are special cheap tickets available in conjunction with a Eurostar ticket which means it should cost much less. Have a read of seat61.com/UKc…htm

I see your Welsh flag there.

Last time I stumbled over the border, it was like going back in history 50 years and a man tried to roger my poodle.

(that's not true, but neither is your Fox News view of London)

Your opinion. I’ve been mugged twice. By foreigners. My partner had her phone stolen off her, also twice. Friends have been mugged. I’ve got countless stories from foreigners that think they just come over here and get away with crime. Glad I moved away. So contrary to what you think, it certainly isn’t a stupid comment. And ALL the shooting and knife crime in London is committed by immigrants on other immigrants. Always the same.
