Yes definitely good quality shoes, I owned a pair for a few years and would buy again, I simply don't think this is a great price, at theright outlets I though £60-70 was going rate and needed to be cheaper than that for a good deal. IMHO
Does the toe end scuff easily?

My shoes only last 6 months That's if I buy cheap ones or pricey ones!

I've never been to their outlet but doubt they would be cheaper than this unless seconds. From what people have told me they are generally 20% - 30% off RRP in the outlet, but happy to be told otherwise. You certainly wont get cheaper than this online.

The beauty of properly constructed shoes is the heels and soles can be replaced. If maintained correctly (worn on alternate days, stored using shoes trees and polished with a quality polish on a regular basis) they will last years.

same here, my shoes never last long no matter how much i spend
why cold ?
I bought a pair that looks exactly like that from Clarks recently for £30. They look and feel wonderful to wear. Also, I have been using Clarks shoes for years without issue.

Cold as the price is too high even if the quality of the shoes is good. One should be able to get a good quality shoes for under £50.

Similar Clarks with Goodyear welted construction are £99:

Don't think people appreciate how good these shoes are, comparing them with Clarks £30 is like comparing brass with gold. I usually pay more than this for seconds. Only bought 1 pair though as they are limited in my size (9.5)
I don't tend to like buying shoes without trying them on, as I find many different makes have variations in the "actual" size and width.
Still voted hot as I know you can easily pay a lot more for a top quality pair of shoes...
These shouldn't be compared to Clarks!
The quality of these is far superior!
I've had a pair of Loakes for years, superb fit and built to last a lifetime.
