I love this brand but would be interested to learn why anyone would find it tacky?

Why do you find its suitable for them to associate their products with an advent calendar?

Yes I do.

Do you know what marketing is? And how many people who "celebrate" Christmas are actually remotely bothered about the "birth of Jesus Christ"?

Precisely.

Yes i certainly know what marketing is and back to my point, this is …Yes i certainly know what marketing is and back to my point, this is cheap, tacky, unimaginative, thoughtless marketing by some idiot. This brand has become cheap and tacky as i said. Says it all about your tastes if you find this 'marketing' an inspiration to purchase. More fool and their money. People like you pay for my fancy cars and homes.

I would say this is about the price of the product and not your views on the use of advent calendar to market products, I think calling it tacky and cheap is not helping other who do not know the product. L'Occitane remain a good brand where if shopped cleverly people can code stack to get some great deals. Most companies now produce advent calendars and these are all high ticket companies like Jo Malone, Harrods and even Porche. These are becoming an alternative for people who like to think a bit differently, I am even considering buying a whiskey advent calendar, as it will allow father to try a rage of malts, over the days leading up to christmas.Though i think they should produce a 12 days of christmas version, so it can be given on christmas and enjoyed post christmas.

Moving on then but not with a positive comment... I see this sort of thing every year and think about buying them until I read the contents. It's basically fifty quids worth of small quantities of soap isn't it? They say it's the thought that counts and I think this could be an example of where not a lot of thought was applied.

I too had considered buying it and dividing into stocking fillers, but having seen one instore, I would say it looks too much like someone has just put together a lot of samples. Too many hand creams too

Is a 'rage of malts' what he suffers after drinking too many?

Sorry, couldn't help myself, I agree with your comments though

try ALMOND

Wow, this is even better. Thank you.

Ordered one for my Ma - she will love it. Used ALMOND code - Thankyou.

Certainly not a tacky brand, very good premium quality natural ingredients used, and organic where possible.their packaging, their stores, their staff, the products themselves show they put a hell of a lot of experience time and thought into them all. they are overpriced i think, but with a code you can get a little treat, and who gift wraps your order for free everyday of the year and gives out free samples and also free mini goodies on a certain spend?.not a lot of companies. Love L'occitane .

Don't forget 6% cashback via Quidco too

Thank you. Also used code HERGIFT (alongside ALMOND) to get a half price collection for a Christmas gift. Three presents for £64 with free delivery. Thanks again!
