"Extra £9.99 for 6 year supercar"
I'd love a 6 year supercar for that price!
I paid 170 few months ago. Very good speaker. Solid Bluetooth connection. I might buy another one.

Might be best to go see it at richer sounds and listen to it.

Am tempted but then have an Amazon echo in the bedroom and a load of other speakers everywhere.

It says on RS website it has two USB and 1 analogue input.
So,

I've got it now. Here is my honest review

1. Bluetooth (utter rubish, sound that comes out of this is just not worth using bluetooth).I used Deezer on my samsung s7
2. Speakers are amazing. I have an old iphone 5 that I no longer use. Docked it and with deezer this sounds astonishingly good.
3. 3.5mm Input conection is good. I have a sound blaster e5 dac and used with bluetooth (same source as the speaker's bluetooth) and its as good as directly with the lightning port. Not used the other ports.

So, for me, this is amazing value, amazing sound and looks great
Shame the sound quality through Bluetooth is rubbish, did you try it in-store just incase yours is a faulty one? Can't see what Bluetooth spec is so maybe being a few years old relying on an old standard. Saying that I do have a spare Apt-X Bluetooth unit which could be powered from the usb port... Hmmm.... No no no..... Lol

I am very very very (did I say very) picky with my music/sound (hehe) I'm no profesional or anything like that but I do know what I like. and I do not like the sound of these speakers with their original bluetooth. It lacks a lot for me. Same on the shop

I do not think it's Loewe's fault at this price point. It's that what I'm used to my creative e5 DAC that costs almost double... And still, even when using my E5 I notice a lot of difference between bluetooth and non-bluetooth (still, on the e5 the bluetooth is quite good and I can live with it when traveling).

As I said. using the lightning dock or external input it sounds amazing. I'm very very impressed with it

Sorry but that is simply utter rubbish.

Bluetooth is perfectly fine. Sounds like you have a faulty unit or you've bodged something somewhere.

This speaker is simply excellent and produces high quality, well balanced sound all round.

Have you tried how it sounds with lightning port or input? Or just Bluetooth? You might be missing a lot if you are just using Bluetooth.

And yes. The speaker is excellent. I never said anything bad about it. It's just that with the Bluetooth you can not appreciate how good it is.

We Different ears too.

Given you called it utter rubbish via bluetooth clearly suggests you either don't know what you are talking about or you have a faulty unit.

I already have 2 of these units and they are quite simply high quality speakers all round. The bluetoooth connection is rock solid and perfectly acceptable. There is nothing 'utter rubbish' about it at all.

The point of 'hard connection' applies to every speaker of this type out there and doesn't detract anything from this particular one either.
OK you are right I'm wrong. I honestly don't want to prove I'm right or anything. Not sure why you are so defensive about it.

I have my opinion you have yours. Job done.

Indeed, good to see you accept you were wrong (not that you could defend your 'utter rubbish' comment anyway)

I’ll have to look around and read a few reviews, need some quality speaker.
I bought the last one in stock in the Liverpool branch. I’ve been looking for a Bluetooth speaker to pair with my Dot for ages and all the decent offers seem to be on battery powered speakers. I find the sound quality on this to be phenomenal at this price point - nice meaty bass considering it’s an all-in-one.
I’m really happy with it, I doubt you’ll find better for sub £100.
I have just found a silver one at the Guildford branch. I am really impressed with the sound quality via Bluetooth. Outstanding value at £99.95. Thanks for the posting.
