Log Burner at Netto, seems a reasonable price especially with the lighter nights now here and with it still being quite chilly :-)

Please note the picture i've added isnt the exact same one, its the closest i could find though. The one in the link on the Netto page is the one you'll get ;-)

Starts tomorrow 22/04/2010

Thanks

No problem

I saw that hing advertised ... it looks so ugly!!!

It looks like an accident waiting to happen, almost as bad as Aldis' swinging barbecue from a few years ago.

My thoughts exactly - smoke everywhere!

Buy this just so that your neighbours will believe they can smell the burning all the way from Iceland.

Buy this ]Lava Rocks for added authenticity.

Have used one of these in the past and the heat from the fire makes the legs on it bend making it a potential hazard i would avoid.

Did smoke make your clothes smell? I never would have guessed :whistling:

These are sound as long as you place them so the wind blows the smoke etc away from the sitting area and you use clean and dry wood, putting your chopped up old bookcase that has been painted or varnished into one will not produce the desired effect. (i know ths from my freind thinking it would be a good idea, lol)

Kinda just asking to get done for smoke nuisance using these things.

thanks!

What kind of logs can it burn?

The wood ones, not the ones that leave your butt.

Seriously though, seasoned logs would be the best, they produce less smoke.

Just what I wanted, thanks. H&R added

Great, thanks - sorted me a present there!

My brother had this exact one a couple of years ago, the heat bent the lags out and made it unstable, the paint flakes off and the whole thing rusted up after a couple of rainy days, not to mention that the exposed sides allowed ash and charred wood dust to blow all over the garden covering us, the dog the ground, the rabbit hutches, pretty much everything was gray and filthy by morning.

Don't bother, get yourself a better fire pit!

But I'm a tree! Looks like someone hasn't seen Lord of the Genitalia Rings

Got one of these last week, was impressed how fast it got rid of a lot of old wood.
Legs have not bent and is very sturdy for what it is.
Does produce a lot of smoke though, handy for annoying the neighbours. HA HA
