Good reduction but looks to struggle with larger denser logs. This picture probably shows the size limitations of logs 49561813-lhkPj.jpg

It does give these max log dimensions:

45.7cm in length and 25.4cm diameter

I'm hopeful for some larger very well seasoned logs that are naturally splitting but need a bit of help but we'll see

I don’t understand who this is aimed at? Surely this is more cumbersome and possibly needs more effort than using an axe, where the weight of the axe and gravity are doing the work?

Aimed at the armless, those with broken arms and other arm impediments I would suggest.

I have one and it's really decent. Better than I thought it would be. Splits quite big logs too at little effort (edited)

These things have not got good reviews. A few knotty logs and it’s wrecked. You can’t beat a good chopping block inside a couple of car tyres and a Fiskars splitting axe. Same price from FFX and last a lifetime.

This looks like quite the contraption, I will avoid

More effective than the coat hanger I usually use but a bit messier…
