Decent poor-man's Naga alternative

your prob right as ive never used a naga i couldnt comment, but having read all reviews i dont think theres alot between them and at half the price couldn't justify the extra money on naga as im not a hardcore gamer :-)

The Naga has a lot of disadvantages youtube.com/wat…-Qw

Is not the Naga prone to breaking just outside of the warranty period?

Had a few naga mice there unbeatable for me.

None of them broke also I just upgraded and passed the old ones on to mates. There all still going too.

I would buy this also though so voted hot.

Isn't that like most products ??

These are £20 in PC World on clearance bought one yesterday. Beware you can get the old batch that can't be firmware updated and some come with a sensitivity problem that requires the firmware update.

Awesome mouse. I have both black and white.

Poor mans naga when the naga itself is a horrible cheap piece of crap that falls apart in just a few months? lol.

Really tempting, I currently use a Nostromo Keypad and gigabyte m9680 macro mouse, mouse for the laptop would be nice though!

Does this do programmable loop macros etc? (Eg f1, f2, f3 delay repeat)

topcashback available on this

Ironic that there's free DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition added to the basket at checkout when the PC version won't let you choose any keybinds for your mouse. but hey, its free

thanks for sharing.

Use discount code 5£-LOGITECH. it makes this 29.99

You say you got Dragons Age Inquisition in the basket? When I add it to the basket all I get is a DLC pack for it. Are you sure it is the full game?

that's not specific to the Naga, that would just be all Razer products...

I'm using the g13 gaming pad along side which which lets you do that as it uses the same software as miuse I dont
see why not will have a look when I get home

For an extra tenner you can get this with a power shell from pc world

I wasn't intimating the Naga was any better for build quality, just comparing the two on the price points. The Naga is a "premium" MMO/gamer mouse when going by the cost.

My Naga Epic has been going strong for over 3 years and not had a problem so far. Maybe I'm lucky

Amazing mouse, far better than my tired old razer naga.

Shame they don't do one for lefties, good price tho

I've got one of these, absolutely lovely to use, not set up many macros or anything yet.

All my leftie gamer friends play with the mouse in their right hand

absolutely fantastic mouse, build quality far superior to the Naga. Yes I had a Naga. I had 5 "pro"Razer mice. all failed on me.

This mouse has more functions than the Naga. Logitech lasts decades. my mx300 from cs 1.5 still works. I wish I could say that about my razers (I take excellent care of all my equipment, so it's not user damage)

Hmmmm i'm tempted seeing as my naga seemed to fall apart.....

also forgot to add, the extra button on the side opposite the num pad immediately swaps to a second row of keys. similar to hitting a shift or ctrl key. excellent for games like wow.

my naga molten edition broke a month before warrenty ends but they had no more in stock so sent me the new 2014 edition I didnt like its size and shaped compared to molten. my friends use the logitech mice and like it.

Thumbs up. Buying this as a naga alternative.

Lame. I literally bought one of these two and a half weeks ago for £42

Razer don't have 3 year warranty though

Also don't forget to order through Topcashback for a potential £10.16% cash back which might bring this down to £26.99.

A little heads up. These mice can sometimes have a glitch where the cursor will jump to the top of the screen randomly in it's Enhanced Pointer Precision system, if it's turned off normally you should be fine though.

Coercive

Yup I read this a while ago and is What's poor me of buying one of these so far.
I do want one as I pay a lot of mmo games and want to bind hot bar to buttons but worried about the issue you mentioned also I heard you cant Flash the firmware either so be fixed via update.

Naga is out of my price range atm so I may just risk it with one of these and rma of it happens.

Thanks for the update about the firmware. Just had a quick google and it seems they released a 2ndversion

a 2 nd version which can be flashed.
I wonder if these are the newer one that can be flashed?

So yours is the new version, does it have the issue of the cursor flicking to top of screen or has that been fixed now?
Cheers.

I've used a few gaming mice but this one is by far my favourite for mmo's! Feels absolutely the right size in the hand, easy to program and very responsive on all the surfaces i've used it on. Unfortunately mine which i've had for ~ 2 years, has recently developed a clicking issue (sometimes the left button clicks twice instead of once).

Think i may just buy another and keep my old one as back up.

Good find!

Check your emails as I have today received a 30% off discount code from Logitech and checking it against purchasing this it works so reduces it to £24.49 and possibly £22.04 if the Cashback tracks.

The 5£-LOGITECH code will not stack as well.

There's a 30% off code for anything from the Logitech store!
