These are great for the price for anyone looking for a small upgrade from poor TV speakers. We got our son one and its good enough to offer an improvement over his 1080p Sony TV, but not good enough to torment us in other rooms!

Might wanna add in that it's sound capacity is 16W (RMS)
Our TV speakers blew so we got this and it makes it sound like a normal TV again!
If you're not happy with your TV speakers sound (cheap TV etc) this should keep you happy.
would a 16w soundbar really be better than my tvs onboard 20w speakers?

guess you'd have to hear it in person to decide on quality difference??
When I read reviews .... that said it all .... so sticking with my headphones for the moment
If you can stretch the budget I would recommend buying this

Wireless subwoofer 180w and for the price just brilliant.
Unit I received was as good as brand new and mint condition in its original box....

Yes! You would have a total of 36 wattage.
Worse than my tv speakers avoid.
Comes with 3 months Deezer premium which is worth £30.
Essentially a free Soundbar if you are paying for premium version of Deezer anyway.

I have a Panasonic EX700 58 4k I wonder if it would be a upgrade
Bought one last week. Tried it. Rubbish. Returned it.

My Microlab £10 mini desktop speakers from Amazon are way better than this.
This is actually very impressive for using with a TV 32" and under. Value for money.
Very poor quality.. I wouldn’t recommend it even at this price.

It's not just about the power. It's about the depth and range of the sound.

TV speakers tend to be quite thin, so you get very little bass.

RMS value is a true measure MMPO or others they yes aren't any use for comparison and your 20watt speakers are probably around 8w RMS

why are you guessing that my speakers are 8w when i stated they are 20? and the write up says the same funny enough..

  • ''Dolby sound system.
  • 2 x 10 watt RMS power output.''

An improvement yes, but how much of an improvement are they over built in TV speakers? Samsung TVs have probably got the worst built in speakers of the big TV brands and this Logik is only a slight improvement over those built in speakers. I bought this Logik speakers when it was on offer another time and i returned it to Curry's for a refund. While I had it, i compared it to some cheap Yamaha pc speakers that I bought on eBay for less than a tenner and the PC speakers were better than these Logik speakers when used with the TV. You can do better.

This is my experience exactly, except mine were cheap Yamaha desktop speakers instead of Microlabs.
