Not sure if this is an error on the website, but currys.co.uk have a 42" Full HD 3D TV for £299. The price for the 32" equivalent is £329, so its £30 less for a 42" than a 32".

Ordered that been after a new TV cheers OP

heat added, good price for 3D

anyone got this, reviews indicate poor 3d performance?

Only got this for £399 couple of weeks ago. 3D is great on this tv. gutted at the price.

was playing motorstorm in 3d the other day on this and was quite impressed!!

Glad with the postive response was a bit worried that I bought a terrible TV for a second, not expecting anything amazing for £300

I thought all 3D tvs got bad reviews on the 3d as 3d generally looks crap!

eh ?...

watch Avatar, or Thor, or another showpiece 3D title..... Much better than the 2D equivalent.... by a country mile.

I don't want to fork out another £100 for a 3D Blu-ray

ps3 ?

Would this be true?

"Interesting review, especially when you consider that if you look through the vents on the back of the TV you can clearly see the LG logo on the back of the panel".

I want to order this but can you watch normal TV on this? So I don't have to use 3d all the time?

Good price for a budget 42 in 3D TV, but I'll leave it.. no smart tv, no hd freeview, poor viewing angles.

yes

Probably but you have to remember LG make displays for a lot of companies. It's the tech behind the panel that matters and that is not LG.

Agreed. my 19inch SWEDX was an LG panel inside, but poor electronics on the tuner.. it's fecked as a tv tuner now, but the screen works perfectly.

As Supasta said, this likely has the same panel as much more expensive TVs, it'll just have lower quality electronics and simpler image processing.

Phenomenally cheap TV, would be good value as a 42" LED TV, let alone a 3D one.

1080p, 3D, Freeview, LED, 42" for £300 seems good to me, picture quality may be average but you pay for what you get.

3D Passive: 10 pairs of glasses included

if only it was a 50in as my other half is after a 50in one, already got 42in

Wow! Seems great for the price, if only it were 100Hz and had Freeview HD (then again, you can watch a lot of HD content on iPlayer, YT etc). May just have to grab one...

I had a horrible time with this TV (sound didn't work) and ended up taking it back to the store. Might have been a one off but I can't recommend it.

Hi, it's not an error, i've just been instore at Bromborough and i noticed it - was going to post myself.

Happy with the reviews. Don't need Freeview anyway, so lack of Freeview HD not a problem. Still going to be a step up from the 32 incher I've got now.

Just need a wall mount.

Anyone know if you can program a sky remote to work with this telly?

But just how thin is this unit anyway?

Got to be better than the 42" Manta 3D TV that was posted some weeks back from Amazon.

Thor showpiece? It's converted, none of it was filmed in 3d

Same set is €700 on currys.ie! oO

Seems too good to be true. Trying to convince myself why I need one now!

who has one of these and can vouch for the picture and 3D quality?

If this isn't a bargin I'm not sure what is.

It's 3D, 42" and LED backlit for £300

1400:1 contrast ... Ouch
I have a great non 3d 32" led, will wait, even though a good price for a budget tv

Can you wall mount?

Buy it again for £299 and then take it straight back, still sealed, and get a refund on your 'original' receipt - £399 back in the pocket

Quick tip, buy it on pcworld to get 2.5% Quidco (only valid for another 8 hours).

Yes you can and there is 30% off wall mounts from currys.co.uk when you buy the TV. Not sure how competetive the currys wall mount prices are though !? will be worth a shop round to compare wall mount prices first.

but how do you remove the Logik logo?....

Was tempted to do that, not sure I can be bothered with the hassle. As for people asking reviews. It's a really good tv, maybe not the best, but 3D is good, so is 2D to 3D upscale. As for sky remote code, yet to get that working, if anyone has a code, let me know.

Niggit must be loaded if getting £100 back isn't worth the hassle.

does this come with any glasses?
