Good price for a DAB radio however you may want to spend a bit more to get one with DAB+ to future proof...

Thanks, bought as a birthday gift for 89 year old plus quidco
Another single-speaker fail. Friends don't buy friends mono radios.
DAB radio sucks lack of a stations and the DAB+ is a bit of a joke as the signal drops out. I would never buy a Dab radio again.
Dab is rubbish , I just have to move my portable radio a millimetre and it loses reception , it's clear when it works but just hassle and frustration most of the time , and moving it from kitchen to conservatory is a no-no #firstworldproblems
Anyone doublecheck whether this is DAB+ too just in case.
Search for Fun Kids UK radio and check if you can hear anything.

This is where FM still wins. Being analog it just degrades or interferes, instead of outright dying like digital DAB. And in my area DAB often drops to mono, whereas the same FM channel continues gracefully in stereo.
Put your DAB radio next to router, mobile on a call, Bluetooth speaker, cordless phone base unit... and play anything if you can.
BTW, I once bought a previous version of a cheap black portable Logik at Currys and struggled at connecting as areial? had to be pulled full length. Had to return it. Do doublecheck wrt new version.

In fact, some children thought they experiment if seeds could grow next to a router and the answer was...
I always prefer to use FM where available for the Stereo. DAB, like CDs, is never as good as they initially advertised and broadcasting in only mono is such a backward step.
I have several DAB portable radios and all but one have no trouble picking up a strong signal. I live in Liverpool and I can pick up Manchester and Stoke stations. The nearby railway line and overhead cables cause a great deal of interference on FM so much so that Radio 3 is impossible to listen too. DAB makes listening possible and, to quote the hype, interference free.
As for the mono speaker in this set, you don't get much of a stereo effect if any all from twin speaker sets so it's no great loss.
What does confuse me is the 3 months Deezer subscription. This isn't an internet radio.
