Is this for all ipods?

Original Poster

It is indeed

does anyone know which Ipods this is for and if the sound is ok? Want to get something like this for my brother-in-law (who has a Nano).

Thanks

Sorry to be a nuisance, ipod touch as well do you think?

Original Poster

Yeah, well it works with my classic, so I'm assuming it does!
I'm guessing you would have to use the dock adaptor thingys that come with the touch.
They let you try them out in my store so I'm assuming they would in others :-)

And yes I personally think the sound is brilliant for £25
These are half price at the moment

Brilliant, thanks for your help. Have now reserved one.

I've reserved one too so hopefully my B-I-L will be pleased! Thanks v much - rep left

Seems a good deal, doesn't seem too bad a player, just looks a bit white and plasticy but for the price you can't complain.

It comes with remote, better pictures of the remote can be seen here (not my auction) item number: 190179447101

Ian

been looking for a decent dual alarm for a while.

bonus to be able to play iPod and charge it.. without having to power on computer

I had one of these for a while, got it in store from currys when they had it half price last time. Sounds good for the money but had a few -points.
Clock display is very bright and I had to cover it as it prevented me from getting to sleep. Even on the dimmed setting.
The volume of the alarm starts quiet and raises the volume until you adjust it manually. This is a pain as it keeps going until it reaches max volume.
Mine eventually failed and kept adjusting the volume up and down on its own. When I took it back they refunded without question I think they'd seen quite a few back.

Will this work with the newest Ipod Shuffle 1GB?

Thanks, Anthony

Now available online from currys with 5% discount

EDIT: Sold Out online now again

Got mine last night.

As WSEED said, the clock display is VERY Bright.. thought I hadn't got it on DIM.

On DIM it really lights up the room..... going to see if I can get something to cut down on the light without completely blocking the time display..

Other than that at the moment it sounds excellent.

I have 3 of these, at this price why not go for one in the bedroom, kitchen and living room.

They are great, really good sound for the price, the light is quite bright tho, Currys had them in for £70 for ages then they went half price then on down to 24.99 online

Just got them back in stock by the looks of it, grabbed one for my daughters ipod classic

Yup back in stock online with free delivery and you can get 5% off

A ]similar product in Aldi coming on the 9th I've no idea of the quality or the sound of course but might appeal to some peoples taste.

That one looks cooler... wonder how it sounds...

The Logik sounds excellent

the aldi one is better as it comes with video out facility and cables so you can connect your ipod classic to the tv and watch whatever movies you have stored on it. apple will charge you £35 just for these cables:thumbsup:

Warning for anyone wanting the video out as it might not work on the Aldi one with the 3G Nano and the Ipod Classic as Apple have change the way that this works. I don't get video out on my JBL and Nano combo. It could also sound like a pile of junk too where as the original posted one did sound OK all be it I had trouble.

This is expired now, as currys are now trying to charge £69.99 for the same unit. Haven't had time to check Dixons and PCworld

sorry to bump this. but I only have just opened it up (for an xmas pressie) and I must say sound quality was better than i expected and good for the size

so thanks to the OP for the heads up
