Surprised this is limping up in heat, great deal.

I got these last time they were posted, really pleased with them and would recomend.

Thanks

is this usb only? oor do you have phono line in to connect any 3.5mm jack?
if it is usb only does that mean that you have to switch audio device in device manager every time you connect or disconnect these speakers?

£23.99 now?...

£23.99 now?...

Doh looks like a deal missed here too

£23.99 here too... I guess the party's over. What are they worth, sound quality wise?

Great deal, I'm actually using a set as I type this with my MacBook and the sound quality is really very good. Not too far of my more expenisve Z-10s that I currently have on my desktop. I bought the Audiohub back when they cost like £45, so for £15 your getting an awful lot.

USB only (though mains powered), sound quality is good and build quality is really nice (though while it works well enough, the volume/mute dial looks incredibly cheap, especially the feeble diffuse orange light). You don't have to switch anything in device manager but you will have to stop and restart the current track or restart the application. Ironically the USB was the main weakness of this device for me; if it had a 3.5mm socket I would be using it as a nice neat speaker for my desktop or MP3 player and frankly would also be using it on my laptop to avoid the minor hassle of the restarts.

The other big complaint? There must be a long unshielded cable between the USB sound card and the amp inside, because it's really bad at putting out that evil staccato sound you get when a phone rings too close to a speaker!

This is a good piece of kit (have one myself) but is the £23 price which is anomalous, not the £15 one. It's been sitting at £15 since last November when I ordered mine and has been posted here several times. It'll probably come back down in price shortly, so keep an eye on it.

This is most likely sold out at play. The £23 pounds being shown is the price that a 'play trader' is selling theirs at, you would not be buying directly from play.
