Below is the review on Play.com - it might not be as wireless as you think!!!

Got the mouse today expecting it to be able to use the new usb wireless adapter that came with my Logitech wireless keyboard and you can't. Instead it comes with the worlds largest usb cable yes cable that the goes to a pairing hub which is the size of the mouse! Will be great if you have a base station out of the way but if you are using it with a laptop like me then looks really nasty. An old product they are trying to sell off as new wireless!

Still a bargain price for a great brand. Have some heat.

According to the review (as above), this mouse came with a hugh chuck of wireless adaptor (not for everyone I believe)

However, I do not think that when you buy a mouse and keyboard seperately (even with the same brand), you could pair them up. Just a comman sense (correct me if I m wrong).

Post up just for the price. (_;)

Ok: 'separately' & 'common sense'.

Well you did ask to be corrected if you're wrong!

You're correct about the wireless limitations, though. Unless you get one of the new Logitech 'unified' receivers and compatible peripherals (or one of the keyboard and mouse sets designed to run together) you can't run something else off the same receiver.

Not bad. I feel for the person who gets this for christmas.

Great Price - Logitech

I was after one so heat from me.

might be worth a bash for a desk top.

Ordered cheers Op.

Good price if you don't mind the receiver taking up space. I've used Logitech before, seem to have decent build quality with good battery life.

Bargain thanks

Amazon are now selling what seems to be the same mouse for £5 delivered :

amazon.co.uk/Log…1-8

Pity I've already ordered from Play.

The mouse eventually arrived ... the scroll wheel feels a bit cheap compared to my existing Logitech wired mouse (SBF96, a bread-and-butter wired mouse) but otherwise I think it was worth a fiver. I already have an older C-BG17-Dual wireless Logitech keyboard + mouse (the mouse died several years ago) which has a receiver that looks the same as this new one - sadly the new mouse is not compatible with the old receiver, so I now have two of these carbuncles !
