MEGA DEAL at Currys, free fast deliver or collection

Decent price, not as good as it was at Xmas, but it's not Xmas at the moment!

Also beats the recent random deal where they threw in a portable battery charger.

Link is to G29 for PS4.

G920 link: currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Both were £199.99 earlier this week.

Just tried out the G29 on the weekend and it is amazing (played on PS4, Assetto Corsa)

Not sure how long it's on for.

Not with the shifter you didn't ! Only the wheel was £99, I'm sure I saw it for £129 though at one point?
I bought the g29 when Amazon had it on special last august and bought a GT omega stand for it.I've been struggling to get enjoyment from this as I'm not sure if it's just me but the learning curve for this wheel seems quite steep. Not sure if I should stick with it or sell it on as I've spent around £400 on it if you Inc shifter, stand and games.I understand there's a high learning curve but not sure I can invest so much time to get used to it.
Was hoping it was going to be £99 again like last easter, for wheel/pedals.

I'm not a big gamer, but I enjoy real life driving. The reason I enjoyed the wheel so much was because of how realistic it was. I didn't struggle with it tbh and I used it for one race only (and I'm not claiming to be naturally talented, like I said not a big gamer)

Perhaps try it with a more realistic game? I doubt it would be much fun on an arcade style game

I tried project cars and asset to corsa and couldn't get it to work well. There's so many patients of what settings you should use for sensitivity etc I've probably followed bad advice and it's made it more difficult to handle.Don't get me wrong I like the wheel I'm just not good with it but then again I've never driven a real car so maybe that's why I'm struggling with it.Thanks for your advice anyway.

If you've not driven a real car that may be the issue.

Also I had all settings default apart from car being in manual mode, used the shifter to change gears (not paddles) and turned auto clutch off because the whole point is to use the clutch!

Read up a bit on driving and keep trying it's loads of fun

Thanks I appreciate it
I don't understand why this is cold....the deal with a cheap power bank without the shifter for 150 was getting hot deals and this includes the shifter which alone is 50 quid. I appreciate it has been a lot cheaper at times but currently this is hot compared to amazon and other places. heat from me.

Agreed, this seems like the best deal for this at the moment including the shifter. Would pretty much on be getting it for Dirt Rally VR myself so not sure it's worth it but heat added.

I think people get too caught up on what it cost at some point in history and then vote cold which is why I mentioned that it may be cheaper at xmas but it's not xmas just now.. anyway hopefully someone benefits from this.
I bought this wheel before christmas for £130, but im not that impressed to be honest. Unless you prepared to spend more time messing with the FFB settings than paying the game, that I wouldn't bother. The only games I tried that works well is Porject cars. Others like Dirt rally are utter trash, even when trying other peoples settings. Nothing like a real car, unless you are comparing it to a banger with no power steering...

It boggles the mind....When it was £199.99 everyone was voting it hot. Regardless, I purchased one as I've been after one for a while now so thanks for posting this.

I'm glad it's benefited at least one person!
