Looking at flight sticks to use with Elite Dangerous in VR. I am a total noob at it, I'm hugely failing using a keyboard Price seems good for the pro version and imo, it looks much nicer than the non pro. I'm totally sold on Elite and if it goes well, I think I'll see which other flight games work with it in VR, I spent about 20 mins just looking around...

I understand this won't be for everyone, but I've heard good stuff about them and this is the best price around, so it could help someone out.

Delivery is free as it's over £50

Paid £119 for ours in November from Amazon...sadly didn't perform as well as expected for MFS...now back to the older X52 with refreshed drivers
OP what VR solution did you get? I'm thinking this could be fun if under say £350
I have the older X52 and they work great with Elite.
I also use voice attack as I have a lenovo headset and I find voice attack with the HCS add on is great to use.
I have the one with William (James T Kirk ) Shatner.

I'm using the Lenovo Explorer, it's pretty awesome
Still using my trusty X45 - no need for an update yet, but this seems to be a good price
Thinking about adapting my car to put this in for a badass steering system.
Works great for me. thanks
Myself and my brother bought ourselves one of these each when they where quite a bit more expensive a while ago. Works excellent with Elite: Dangerous, Microsoft Flight Simulator X and X-Plane 10. The latter two need some configuring though but once it's done it's done. Elite: Dangerous supports it natively though which is excellent. At this price? I'd recommend it.
Deal! I use a Thrustmaster Warthog with Pedals in VR (Oculus rift) Which was way more expensive and probably an equal experience. The experience of VR and a HOTAS is incredible (as is a steering wheel). Enjoy the flying!
I have the X52 with a Rift on Elite and its awesome, the experience is so much better and handles smoothly!
Just need a drone...
Nice upgrade from my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, but not sure if I fancy having to relearn a new stick. Was ready to buy something like this just to get more buttons for Elite Dangerous on Oculus, until I discovered Voice Attack.
Only thing I am not keen on with this joystick is the twisty stick. Much prefered the rudder control on the throttle as with the older versions! Good deal though!

I went with pimax 4k great piece of kit
Little gripes here and there but wow what a difference
I never could get on with this stick for the year or so I had it. Although I'd struggle to say why tbh. I ended up paying more and getting the Thrustmaster Warthog which is admittedly in a different league price wise (as well as quality and performance) It's a thing of beauty and it was worth the cost to me given what I've spent on DCS World software at this point. But this isn't a bad price for somebody who wants a half decent option with plenty of buttons etc. It has the benefit of a twist function also for rudder input which is fairly handy for more casual gamers who don't need the hassle and cost of separate rudder pedals.
Is this is the old model? I think i have this in my garage. Bought it many years ago. It is a good product!
I was using the steam controller when playing elite. It worked pretty well. - A LOT better than mouse \ keyboard.
