good price if you can pick up but its normally about £50, so not that much of a deal price-wise.

Is this v2?

This is V2,

i own the V1, amazing keyboard.

people say these had bad reliability, but my V1 is 5 years old and still going strong.

This is the V2, UK Layout.

well sod it, I bought one anyways

nice keyboard.

Got one for £50 6 months ago

isn't v1 better?

I have the G13 (same keyboard without the screen bit) and I have to say I love it. The keys have a great feeling of quality and most importantly you can see it in the dark.

I have the original with 18 programmable keys....I think I'd miss the extra 12 keys on this version though, but I love the original even if it is a little big. A new version is suppose to be coming out soon that has 12 programable keys and a colour lcd screen. This month actually along with the rest of the line up (mouse, headset and gameboard). Keyboard looks much cooler than the former but I'm more interested in seeing if the headset is any good.

Not only is it gonna be insanely expensive (in the hundreds, easily), it needs its own AC adapter. It's completely pointless, and it annoys me that Logitech even bothered to produce this rubbish for those little teenage gamers who are in control of their parents' credit cards. A keyboard doesn't need a colour screen. It doesn't need USB 2.0 ports. For the price of the G19 you could build yourself a PC with old parts and an old CRT screen for the same price.

I realise you merely mentioned it, but I just had to get it off my chest

I have the V1,

and have used the v2

its a matter of prefrance really.

It's been this price for ages, so as cold as a penguins bum.

It's a good keyboard for gaming, as the macro keys on the left hand side are handy. As is the backlighting. However, the keyboard is horrible to type on, the media keys are badly laid out and the whole unit is enormous. I don't think I could recommend it.

less room on the desk for crisps and beer

You get 18 programmable keys on the G15 V2 becuase there you change from M1 M2 M3 or MR these all change so technically you can have 18 commands

Got to say I much prefer the v1 - wish I hadn't sold it to buy the V2........but looks like I'm about to make the same mistake to buy the rather gorgeous looking G19!

logitech is starting to go cyborg star-trekky style. Might wait for the g19 instead (dependant on price of course)

Bought this... worst investment ever...although im not a gamer... just a mug who wanted a nice looking keyboard... tits!

I used to have the v1 G15 but it was so big there wasn't enough space in the room for me.

Very tempted to get get this but the G19 looks absolutely lush as!

not bad reliability. Bad design. My keyboard has now faced the same problem many has - the LCD backlight has dissapeared cos of the tilting LCD screen which was rectified in V2

Yes but thats gonna cost £120...

When you play games on your PC as a hobby, money doesn't really come into it.

Unless you physically cannot afford it.

I have a German G15 v2, and it's the best £15 i ever spent (on a keyboard, anyhow). Very good looking keyboard, and i love using the LCD display to monitor my PC's performance and get news story headlines, just wish that there were more non-gaming apps for it (I don't game on my PC at all) - does look like the new G19 might be even better. I'd love to change the backlight colour, i think USB 2.0 would be a massive imrovement (the slots afterall are very convenient for plugging in flash drives and the like. transferring HD movies over USB 1.1 just isn't fun, nor is downloading photos off a camera), and hey, a colour display could be all kinds of use.

Still, £120 is crazy expensive.

for ordering online through someone like Play it has been around this price for a while but you haven't generally been able to get this from a normal shop for this price to my knowledge.

I've got one of these and its great for controlling winamp whilst playing warcraft as well as the programmable keys for macro n stuff :whistling: The G19 looks nice but I'd rather spend the £60+ you would save on buying the G15 on a shiny new 1TB hard drive:thumbsup:

Just fwiw - Some people (inc me) prefer the feeling of the "old" G15 Rev1 (or the G11 - same keyboard without the screen) to the "new" G15 Rev2 (or the G13).

Now sold out! so anoid! trying back in on Friday.
