Great find! Thanks
Nice board for the money, heat
I use this daily and can't recommend it enough.
This is not a mechanical keyboard so now way can it be described as a gaming keyboard irrespective how good it is to type on. Having fancy colours doesnt make it a gaming keyboard.

Mech vs membrane is personal preference for gaming. The only time I’d say 100% buy a mech keyboard is for typing. Then you really need to buy the tester cherry switches to see what pressure you prefer.

Don't buy a mech keyboard if you're using it on a computer in the room above the bedroom - missus absolutely hates it I think the K90 I have has MX Reds.

Logitech do make the best membrane keyboards IMO, the action and feedback is really nice.

Blue are noisy. I would recommend red or brown. Blue is just annoying, even in a room on your own.

Its not a personal preference. There are many differences. Using a membrane keyboard for lengthy periods is more likely to give you RSI as well as strain your finger cartlidges due to the constant pressure as to activate the key press the there is physical contact with the membrane to the switch, with a mechanical keyboard the key is activated before the key press hits the surface so there is no pressure on the fingers if the keyboard is used correctly - it works similar to those bathroom lights activated using a cord . Also the activation point on mechanical keyboard occurs quicker, so you will be that little bit faster in competitive games.

A good mechanical keyboard will last a lifetime and you will enjoy using it more.

I have many customers who have different forms of RSI due to using cheap membrane keyboards. I buy them alternative keyboards to relieve the symptoms.

Well I have been using keyboards for 30 years, and only had a mechanical between 2011-2015 (sold my desktop and now game on laptop), and haven't suffered any RSI. Yes, typing on the mech was nicer (and noisier), but people really sensationalise how bad non-mech ones are.

As for the deal, thinking of picking this up (moving back to a desktop in preperation for Cyberpunk 2077) as a mech would be too noisy and expensive for just 1 game.

Not everyone is as lucky as you. I work with people who have developed RSI. Once you have it it becomes a lifelong condition which needs to be managed.

A mechanical keyboard does not have to be noisy - ones with red and brown switches are silent or near silent.

I work with both, I buy standard cheap ones for work - membrane keyboards. Where users complain I buy others - ie with scissor switches or other ergonomic membrane ones. If these still don't alleviate the problem then I purchase mechanical keyboards.

The issue here is gaming - and if you want the best for gaming then that is definitely mechanical.

every gaming post on HUKD have to have these "gaming snobs" with their "this is not for gamers cause it does not cost 10x the regular stuff, how can you call something for gaming if it's not good for professional athletes"
@Brutes A whole penny cheaper now!
Mine arrived on Saturday, and had a good 4 hour session on Borderlands 3 yesterday, lovely for the price point (and still no RSI)
