This was £133 ish a few months ago but has recently been hovering around the £220 mark.

The G29 driving force steering wheel delivers the driving experience for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC games;
Dual-motor force feedback and helical gearing offers exceptional smooth steering;
Stainless steel paddle shifters and RPM/shift indicator LEDs help you make crisp, fluid gear transitions at all times;
The separate pedal unit gives you natural, responsive control with a nonlinear brake pedal;
Built-in clamps and bolt points allow you to mount the wheel securely to a table or racing rig minimising wobbling.

Same price in currys/pc world also they have the Logitech G920 for the Xbox one same price

is there a chance this will drop cheaper on friday i remember it being 90 before

sold out amazon

Drops below a ton and I am all over it.

If you buy this thinking you'll never need another wheel, you might find the PS5 doesn't support it. Same thing happened to me with the Driving Force GT for PS3, which is not supported on PS4, because Logitech wants you to buy another one.

I'm not buying another wheel because of the PS3 PS4 con. I'm sticking to GT5 on the PS3 as my race simulator.

My feelings exactly. FU Logitech! If I ever buy another wheel it will be Thrustmaster.

FYI you can buy a converter so you can use your PS3 wheel on a PS4. By a company called Brook. Costs about £30.

Edit: They also make converters so you can use 360/XB1 devices on PS3/PS4 and vice versa too.

Seems they don't support force feedback, only a vibration effect. They apparently emulate a joypad, so it translates the joypad vibration signal into wheel vibration. Also the deadzone is much larger than a wheel. I don't think I want one of these...

Ah, I hadn't looked into the specifics. Just knew they supported wheels. Fair play though. Seems to lose a fair bit of functionality.

Cronusmax Plus seems to be a choice to make it work. I'm not sure if its a plug and play thing or if you have to route the wheel through a PC first.

There's also something called GIMX, which requires a Linux PC or Raspberry PI. I wondered about making one myself, but keep hoping there will be a cheap Chinese adaptor that works well.

The same would happen with Thrustmaster, it's due to the security chips in the consoles/

It's a Sony thing. Same thing happened with fightsticks. Someone at Naughty Dog actually made a driver in their spare time to let ps3 fight sticks work on ps4. Sony only allowed it to be included in some games on the condition that dual shock 3 controllers were deliberately made incompatible.
