Is it better than G603? That one is only 5 more pounds and battery lasts double.

Ooh, that's the best ever Amazon price for the G603 too. Great find! It looks to me like the main difference is that you can optionally put two batteries in the G603 so you get double the life as you say, in exchange for a bit more weight.
Been waiting a while for this to drop. Thanks

They are very different mice, I've owned both. The 603 is bigger and better for palm grip whilst the 305 is lighter, smaller and better for fingertip. I was accidentally hitting the right mouse button loads on the 305 but seem to be getting used to it. Go with the one that's similar to your favourite mouse shape. They are both great. If you are really into FPS I would lean toward the 305, it just feels fast. 603 has the longer battery and switch to lower the DPI on the bottom of the mouse so slightly better for office. But its all about size and preference.

My son wants a mouse and keyboard for the Xbox and pc. Is there such a mouse that doesn’t need a receiver being switched every time? Thanks to anyone that can answer!
Thanks been waiting for this to drop!
Been using this for about 6 months on a single battery at 1000hz polling. Works really well, the first wireless mouse i've used that just feels the same as wired

Fantastic mouse, especially at this price! I brought an AA>AAA battery converter (pennies on ebay) and use an Energizer Lithium AAA battery to reduce the weight.

I used to buy a new mouse every couple of months but have been using this for over a year and no plans to change.

Depending on the size wanted, the Logitech MX Master / MX Anywhere / M590 (all on sale on Amazon today I believe) can switch between multiple devices, though you'll need an extra receiver or Bluetooth dongle for the extra devices.

This is the best mouse I have ever owned, I own 2 one white and the black one.

I had been using a logitech mx510 since 2004 which was considered one of their best mice.

Get the 305 you wont regret it.

Very interesting! This is the mouse that you can 3D print a honeycomb shell for, to reduce the weight even further, I believe.
Does anyone know where to get a honeycomb shell to bring the weight down?

Thingiverse.com has the STL files for 3D printing; or you can pay someone else to print it for you.
For work and productivity, should I get this or the M720? I just want a light weight good quality wireless mouse.
Sweet been waiting for a price drop on this mouse since I weren't prepared to fork out £100+ for the G Pro Wireless.
Argh can't decide between this or the G603!

I am very biased and dont have the m720 (have had plenty of other M and Mx mouses, though).

I love the g305 to the point where I'm very seriously considering buying another to take to work. I love the smaller size, simplicity, accuracy and weight.

The M720 appears to be wireless AND bluetooth. This means you can connect to your phone, tablet etc as well as your computer with bluetooth, or a wireless dongle (provided). It also has more buttons. If that sounds useful then I'd go with the m720. It looks like a good mouse by all accounts.

Well I bought both. And after about 10min, I've decide to keep the M720, 100%. Apart from being slightly lighter, g305 hasn't got much going for it for productivity work. I don't need a top end sensor, but a lot of handy customizable button and gesture on the M720 is great. The scroll wheel is way better, battery life is better, and most importantly the shape is a 100 times more ergonomic.
I've heard about using a AAA battery with an adapter or a piece of foil to bring the weight down. However, I wanted to go a little further with a similar idea and thought I'd post it here.

I use AAAA batteries inside a stylus for my tablet, so, I put one of these AAAA batteries in the G305 along with some foil and a touch of bluetack to raise its height. The weight was 79g, matching a G Wireless Pro

The G305 is a nice mouse, so, I may keep it. However, my G Wireless Pro is still excellent
price gone to 40 now.
does anyone know if this Lightspeed reciever will work with keyboards that use the unifying receiver?
Bought this and love it.
Seems to be back at £29.99 for a limited time.
Bought for £22.50!

Used code GIFT50P for £5 off then top-up @ Co-op for 10% cashback so effectively £22.50.
