At this price you might as well give this a go and see how you get on. No point spending more on something will basically the same functionality. For me these days comfort is the main concern, if it fits my hand well then its a keeper.
This is a great mouse. Even better when amazon had it for £20. Very smooth, works on light and dark surfaces
Same price at Currys
Best mouse

I can't speak for the G402 but the G502 is amazing, had mine for just over 4 years. and the only thing wrong with it is the scroll wheel is a bit flimsy these days, still very functional though.
I got this when it was £20 from Amazon. Great mouse and well worth £30
It’s not a bad mouse but it’s no way near the likes of a G403/G pro or a deathadder.
I have the Razer Deathadder, Basilisk, Logitech g502 and the g402 and have tested them all thoroughly. For FPS games the g402 is the best mouse out the four. Very lightweight so easy to turn quickly and the buttons are very good.

Only paid £20 for it but worth £30 imo.
I'm currently using this mouse, have been for about a year now, and I have to say it's served me well. No real complaints apart from it being slightly smaller than I would like. It'll never come close the classic MX518, but it's good value at this price.
Been using the 502 for about 9 months for fps games.
It's good but can't really get to grips with the multitude of settings you can apply concerning dropping sensitivity for sniping etc. Nice to calibrate to whatever surface you are using it on and stuff but not seen much improvement over the mouse I paid 8 quid for if I'm honest.
This mouse might be a better as a starter.

For gaming id go for the G502, you get a lot more mouse for your money and i prefer using it.
However ive found the 402 more comfy for extented use, looking at them, i think the 502 is spreading my button fingers to far apart.
i got the G403 from maplin for £24 & its an amazing mouse now looking for the G240 mouse mat for it at a good price

Depends what you're doing a lot of on your computer.. if you're playing a lot of games and could utilise the buttons on the mouse then i'd go for the G502 without a doubt. But if you're a general user that plays games from time to time i'd probably say go for this.
Had one for a couple of months now, it's a great mouse and feels quality, but it's a bit slender for me as I have pretty large hands, I get a slight cramp after using it for a good couple of hours.

I play mainly League Of Legends on my old G5. Not sure if I'd utilise too many buttons so leaning more towards this one I think..

Even if you have it for a few months you could always re-sell and people will always buy a mouse like this. Which is always a bonus if you think you might upgrade in future.

a bonus for people that play with fingertip or claw grip though. It really isn't small, just thin which i don't think is always a problem for big hands.

i've had mine for a couple of years now and i've also got a massive penis.

if you don't hold the mouse in your palm, or you play shooters i'd argue this is better than the 502, which is far heavier.

for £30 this is easily worth trying regardless. if you fingertip a mouse this isn't ideal, but it's pretty good because it's light.
