All comes down to preferance but at this price you'll be getting a membrane razer keyboard and this will be far superior being mechanical. It does lack RGB but if you're okay with red. Definitely a very good pricefor a mechanical keyboard.

Those switches are okay but personally would go with this, will be built (and feel) better too. I had a G413 previously before getting a G513 because I tried the Romer G linear and preferrred those as they were a bit quieter. Other than that and the RGB they are the same keyboard

Thanks for the input. Are there different types of Romer Gs then? Tactile, linear, etc?

With the 513 they introduced linear which doesn't have the bump feel and clicky sound at max travel.

I've been using this keyboard for a while now in work. Personally I couldn't use it for gaming as the key actuation force is a little on the heavy side, but for typing its perfect for me. I'll stick to my Corsair Strafe RGB (Cherry MX Brown) for gaming at home.

I have outemu browns and I love them, better than cherry reds and blues imo
Will this have the @ key on shift+2 and the american style enter key?

It is the UK layout. Not sure what an American style enter key is though? But I just noticed, depending on the photo you look at, the enter/return key is a different shape.
Paid full price for this and would do again if it broke. By far my fave mechanical kb i have owned. I enjoy it hasn't got 7million extra buttons on it too.
I have thos one over one year, and is good one ;-) with red led
I have this keyboard very pleased with it, bargain at this price, prefer it to the Corsair STRAFE that I had before (which broke after just 8 months)
Nice one, thanks OP. This has just gone on my xmas list.
I would get this but I would a keyboard that I can recap easily and this don't have the cherry mx style required for most kepcap sets
Fantastic price. Reviews mention problems with the space bar. Either double spacing or it stopping working consistently. If you have used one for a few months, can you please let us know if you had similar troubles as I'm predominantly going to use it for typing with some light gaming.
Bought, thank you
Is it ok for office and for occasionally gaming like cs go ?
But more mails and net surfing.
How you think?
Thx for info.
yeah, as long as the people around you don't mind the clickier noise.

Not had that issue and play FPS games regularly :/
I have a higher up version and let me tell ya, keys feel great but louder that an f1 car ;0 Ok, but if an overstatement, but the keys do raise a,”what’s that noise,” from others in the house.

Excellent keyboard, bought one myself at around £70 a year ago and that was money well spent. Strikes a good balance between noise and feedback, really nice to type on and good for gaming too (I'm by no means a "hardcore" gamer mind you)
Is there a keyboard like this with the usb PASSTHROUGH but wirelesss!!!!
Can you make it rgb and change the colours
I had and paid £150 for a Corsair Strafe Silent (that was not very silent), and it broke, was not robust and the software wasn't particularly good.

I then got this far cheaper KB, and it was a total upgrade from the Corsair one. Sleek, punchy and more robust materials. A recommendation from me!
I use this very keyboard.

I've previously used MX blues and MX reds. This is by far the better key switch out of the three.

The keyboard itself is very smart too, with very even backlighting and very handy USB passthrough for my wireless mouse.

I'd recommend this keyboard at £80. At £60 its a bargain. At £30 it's borderline miss-price.

Never used outemu brown but I recommend cherry mx brown over Romero G, depends what characteristics you want it for. It's like buying a car, depends what you need. Test it in a store.. Otherwise be prepared to pay for return.

Probably not, you want quieter keys, not necessarily super fast clacky loud keys for pro gaming. Get a keyboard that's great for typing.. but without 'super' slow keys.

Occasional gaming doesn't require you to save 1ms due to specialised key switches that detract from your everyday typing experience. Plus your office pals (and gf) will hate you.

How is the noise compared to blue switches which is what my current keyboard has? My blue switches are extremely loud

Blues are one in of the loudest so maybe not that bad. Try looking at Romero G Vs Cherry brown or something.. Or YouTube Romero G test.. lots of decibel tests

Razer is trash compared to a literally any other brand
great deal! Have had my eye on a ducky for a while (really want a compact keyboard, not fullsize) but this is only 30 odd quid, very tempted vs dishing out 100+

Great post OP
