Excellent mouse!! I swapped my MX700 for this and I love it. I payed £38 from Amazon about a month ago. DOH!

oh no, even more buttons. can they be disabled (in linux)? or perhaps they don't work, even better.
hard to find a mouse that tracks well (like these do) and is well made (like these are) but that only has 2 buttons and a scrollwheel. the sensitivity adjustment is a particular nuisance.

I have the G500 and really do love it. Had mice from Razer, Microsoft (Habu), Saitek and the like and this is by far my favourite. And for this price it's a steal.

Great freewheeling scroll wheel on these.

OEM or retail? retail has 3yr warranty oem 1. just in case i bought a g5 and found its only OEM even though it has retail package. Scan the BA**ARDS didnt say that.

i wouldn't worry, i've got logitech mice 10 years old that are retired because they've been upgraded, not failed..

I have to agree. The MX700 I refered to in the description is a Logitech. I have had it for seven years and it still works perfectly.

Same shape as the awful G5. My hand ached after playing FPS, was too bulky to reposition quickly in fragfest...went back to my old logitech optical
