I know it can't be used as a comparison as such, but they are for sale on eBay for £29.99.

Yes, you can maybe pick this up instore, but for things like this, i would normally expect eBay to be dearer.

I am no mouse expert, i am looking for a mouse, so checked eBay to see price on there. Given that, i am not sure if this is such a good deal, so hoping people can add their views!

I've only seen one on ebay for £30 and it was open boxed. Could be a warranty replacement sell on. Could be manufacturer refurbished which a lot of ebay sellers do for Logitech gear. Either way that seems to be a rogue deal as the others are trading for £49+. Make of it what you will!

I was going to say to save yourself some money and go for the excellent MX518 which has regularly been around only £17.99 in the past e.g. http://www.hotukdeals.com/search?action=search&keywords=logitech+mx518

However no cheapies about at the moment that I can find........

Overclockers are about the cheapest at £26 plus postage. overclockers.co.uk/sho…php?prodid=KB-060-LG

I'd say this one is 'just' the laser version of the optical MX518 which is highly revered by gamers...

G500 has a few more features than the mx518 aside from just the 5700 dpi laser

*programmable keys with onboard memory means the programmed functions stay on the mouse and will work if you switch computers and also without the need for logitech program to run in the background once mapped.
*dual mode scroll wheel, easily change between click scrolling and hyper fast scrolling
*weight tuning system

this is a pretty good price since RRP is £60.

I just ordered one this morning from Logitech for £30 as they gave me a 50% off voucher for being a loyal customer! all I did was call up a few weeks ago about an old logitech keyboard which ended up being out of warranty and they just offered me the voucher!

I have this mouse. Really is nice and was looking at the price of it yesterday for a friend. This does seem to be the cheapest about but if you are in no rush for it then Scan sometimes have it on the daily deals. I got mine for £27 quite a while back now.
The mouse is by far the best one I have used. Fits the hand really nice and does work nicely.

I agree - the better-value is MX518 is currently £27.99 in Argos
Not the cheapest it's been but, still . . .

Great stuff great price, wish i needed one. I will stick to my G9x.

over clockers is actually £26.99 unless you have free delivery with them the cheapest option is £4.98 for second class which takes it up to £31.97

for £4 more I would say go for the G500

As i said, i duno much about this mouse, but the one i seen on eBay was not open box, and was this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logitech-G500-Gaming-Mouse-Brand-New-/330595641774?pt=UK_Computing_ComputerComponents_KeyboardsMice&hash=item4cf90929ae

NOT my eBay account btw, lol, but appears to be same product, for less, albeit less reputable supplier.

I know when people selling goods, eBay can't be used for price comparison, but if buying, just thought some people may be interested to know.

Think i'm gona go for this mouse, just the choice of where from, lol!

EDIT: just clicked link and it don't work, says item removed or something. Anyway, its item number 330595641774

Cheers.

the seller doesn't really seem to have made any effort in that listing. generic picture and generic description. i wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a boxed as new product rather than sealed as new

Lol, maybe so, but not all sellers do. I'm not trying to say this isn't a good deal, just that the same product, appears to be on sale cheaper, although some people would rather buy for more from a reputable seller.

Having just checked, guy on eBay has sold one now, so maybe someone has taken my comments on board, lol!

Can anyone recommend a mouse for under £60 that's better than this? I'm considering the Roccat Kova + but i don't have any brand preference really. I'm not fussed about zillions of DPI, i just want a good sensor that doesn't twitch much, has a forward and back button and is big enough for a palm grip rather than that claw business.

Voted hot on this and may get one :-)

I have the Logitech G500 Mouse .....Awsome piece of kit .....play Battlefield 2 with it all the time !!
