Seems to have steadily dropped over the last couple of weeks. Right now this seems to be the best deal around for Prime members.

I bought this at £49.99 and I love it. Very nice mouse with good software.

Yeah it really is. I put hours of research in to buying the right mouse for me, the Corsair mice I just couldnt reach all of the buttons which was a shame because I liked them. This is very comfortable, all the buttons easily accessible and the free scroll feature is legend when whizzing through web pages.

With regards to the Software, I have the Logitech G930 headset and G13 Keypad also, the software lets me manage profiles so easily. If I start up Elite Dangerous the software activates the profile on each device. I have the HUKD RSS feed coming through on the G13 LCD also lol.

I really fancied this mouse a few months ago but at £65 it was a no go, even at £45 I don't think it's value for money (still a hot deal though)

Why gaming mice are so expensive is beyond me, I bought an mx518 that lasted 8 years for £25 at the time. I guess gaming has become fashionable and with it the silly prices.

Rant over!

I know you are right! There are perfectly good mice for £10 or £20 but we look at them and think hmm, they cant be any good because they are so cheap. On this mouse in particular though, I can honestly say that even at £70 I would have felt I got value for money. Feels solid, braided cables, customization, features, comfort. Its a personal thing maybe.

I am in the same boat looking for a keyboard. Really struggling to find a mechanical keyboard that I am happy to pay for. In the mean time I have spent £40 buying cheaper keyboards that haven't satisfied me.

I went and bought a Razer Deathadder on Amazon.co.uk for £25 just before Christmas (It's a horrid purple colour with the Transformers logo on it) and there's no way that mouse is worth the £60 it retailed for at launch! :P

Even for the knockdown price I feel ambivalent about it.

I just feel a lot of this gaming stuff is very gimmicky, though I agree it's better to spend a little more if you feel the components will last you longer. In my experience Logitech certainly have the best build quality but it's disappointing to see the prices for this stuff has gone utterly mad, imo.

I'll stop derailing your thread now, sorry!

(I hear ducky keyboards are good, might be worth looking at)

Off topic - I've recently bought a corsair k60 which is pretty good build quality without any of the gaming gimmicks (i.e. Gaming keys, light up keyboard, weird looking 'gaming' design, etc.). May be worth having a look into the corsair ones?

On topic - This deal is the cheapest for the mouse so hot. Although I will not be getting one as I'm looking for a non-gaming, good build quality, wireless mouse (unable to find one as yet).

Thanks, it probably will end up being a Corsair. Needs back-lighting though. Those Ducky keyboards are nice but wow are they pricey.

Been keeping an eye on the price of this mouse for a while, and put an order in this morning when i saw the price before I noticed this post.

One of the best gaming mice to get atm. It has probably the best sensor of any mouse atm, and very low latency on the mouse clicks.

As for the keyboard discussion, I've got the k70 rgb with mx browns, and quite a few mates of mine have got the normal k70 with browns or blues. If you can stretch to it, they are real nice keyboards.

just to say, I bought a corsair k70 on release and I still use it to this day. works perfectly. the build quality is insane, no broken leds or anything. I would highly recommend it.
