It says "Without Palmrest (white)" for £49.99 one. Is the whole keyboard white in colour? There are no pictures available to suggest it is... does anybody know?

Perhaps a silver version instead of carbon, or most likely white texts rather than the grey/stealth.. These don't use the Romer G switch but a Cherry MX-like one and so custom keycaps should work other than the space bar bottom row. I've got the 513 Romer G and wish they had custom caps. Rest of the keyboard is solid though.

Is this the best mechanical RGB keyboard under £50?

Is this the best mechanical RGB keyboard under £50?

Due to different switch types and designs it appears to be pretty subjective (I am no way an expert :P )
But this has good reviews when it was at £100.
Ordered, thanks OP
These are the clicky switches, akin to Cherry Blues. If it had been the Romer Gs instead I'd be all over it but clickys rule me out. Still a great price though

what's the difference?

what's the difference?

There's lots of info online e.g. pcgamer.com/uk/…ng/

The main 3 going by the Cherry MX types which are most common but Logitech have equivilents:

Blue / clicky - have an audible click & as they actuate, personally I find them too loud
Brown / Tactile - No clicky noise but you feel a bump at the actuation point
Red / linear - smooth actuation, no bump to actuate

Logitech do all 3 types, this deal is for the clicky type. They do the same board with Romer G Tactile or Linear. I have the G513 Linear that I got on Black Fri last year with the G502 mouse.

I've reserved 1 of these today as a bargain 2nd keyboard that I'll probably take to work: currys.co.uk/gbu…tml
Amazon have the G402 mouse today for £17.99. Would that be ok with this keyboard?

Wired or wireless?
Wired. I’m trying to find the whole set up for my ten year old son. Thinking of going for one of the pre built systems from CCL on eBay, then getting this keyboard and the G402 mouse?

Nope you go with whats in them. You may not find the clicky switches as annoying as I do, personal preference
