I just bought this earlier today before I saw this post after reading some brilliant reviews both for photoshop (what I want it for) and gaming

Comes with a 3 year warranty so you'll get your money back or a replacement.
Some people are reporting Logitech giving them a G403 wireless to replace faulty G602s - the 403 supposedly has a better sensor but fewer buttons. I know this because my 14 year old son wants a gaming mouse and has researched them in great detail pre-Xmas. (I use a cheap bluetooth mouse or the trackpad on my laptop which is not capable of gaming.)

People actually say 'lel'

I've had two G602's for about a year each, no middle mouse issues so far (although there has been a different problem) and each has had extremely heavy use. I wonder if they have not before time started to get that issue sorted out?

So what was your 'different problem' ?

Not just with middle mouse, but also the left mouse button will double click, despite only clicking once. BUT, Logitech are really good with their warranty. I suffered with the double click issue and just under 2 years after buying, I put in a warranty request and got a replacement from Logitech within a week and got to keep the original faulty mouse too.

After about a year the mouse just went completely haywire, move it slightly and it would jump around all over the screen for several seconds. I can only guess the optical sensor was faulty and Logitech agreed to replace it without question.

The big problem for me was it took them almost 6 weeks to respond and process my RMA which I was not at all happy about, that was last year. Currently trying to get them to respond to an RMA request for one of my keyboards, nearly a month now and they haven't even replied yet.

I love their products but their support for me in recent times has been truly terrible, which is a great shame and is putting me off buying more Logitech stuff in future.

This particular mouse warns you at 20 percent battery with the Logitech software, which does nothing to the actual responsiveness of the mouse. I have actually forgotten about the warning when busy and used it for another week at this point before getting another warning about it and then replacing the batteries.

Chances of it dropping out suddenly with the software is nil. It'll be your fault.

Yes, the other warning is at 5% I think, even then you can still probably use it for a few days before it runs out.

I could see the G700s running out mid game with its horrible battery life, but this? No chance unless you're trying to run it out deliberately.

That's neat but the only reason I would get a wireless mouse is if my desk got cluttered, so far it isn't

Yeah wired are old school now with technology advances. I would never use a wired mouse now it just gets in the way and pulls at the mouse - horrible

I prefer wired because you never have to charge/replace batteries, lower latency, never will dropout (even if miniscule) and cheaper

I know, having to spend 20 seconds swapping the batteries out on this every 2 or 3 months is a real headache...
