had this and returned it after feeling quite heavy on the head after a long gaming session. Picked up the hyperx and i must say its significantly more comfortable and sound quality is superb.

Hyperx for sound and comfort if u play long hours it's very light and u will not even feel it's on Ur head, this one is very heavy
Mates got one of these and it sounds like he's trying to communicate with aliens through a calculator, in water, through his nose.
Anyone tried these for movie watching, if so what is the 7.1 surround sound 'effect' like?

Thanks.

They're not bad. 7.1 only works through USB but there are worse deals for the money. They only get used when at a lan for me so I don't have to take a separate mic but they're comfortable and don't sound too hideous.
I use them for gaming on Xbox and watching movies on a daily basis and I think they're great. Haven't tried other headphones mentioned in the posts above but these are definitely not that heavy as people are suggesting here.
