The PS4 version is more as it comes with additional buttons and rev-counter lights to show you when to shift, both of which the Xbox one doesn’t. As they can both be used with PC, the PS4 version (G920) is the obvious choice for PC gamers.

This is a very sturdy unit I’m very pleased with mine, picked up the same deal back in November. These are adjustable (I’ve included a picture showing what I mean) - at the bottom it can be adjusted for angle with 3 settings; there’s a height/reach adjustment with infinite adjustment on the main supports and finally there is an angle adjustment for the wheel at the top (although not much adjustment is possible on this one).

The materials used are very good and overall extremely pleased with it! The construction is a little tricky as the instructions are rubbish but there’s not many parts so it will come together eventually!

To confirm, this does come with the bracket to mount the shifter, the pictures often don’t show it. What some people have said is right, without being bolted on to the bracket the shifter is a bit loose - but there are holes to hard-mount them on. Unfortunately neither the stand nor shifter come with the bolts. The wheel can also be bolted to its stand.

Overall I’m extremely pleased, it’s given a new lease of life to racing games for me, especially F1 2019.

I was expecting to have the precision of a motor car's steering wheel. Instead there's 'play' in the wheel before the onscreen car starts to turn so I find that I'm rocking the steering wheel left and right to correct the turns. I can't seen to find a way to fine tune the wheel to take out this play movement. Gone back to using the game pad because my lap times are far better with the pad.

You need to set up the wheel in the settings. This can be changed.

Good for you that you hold back, many would just slap it in the credit card

The racing stand has been reduced to £49.99 and has lots more stock so available for home delivery now. I already had the wheel and shifter so just ordered that.
My son wants this but sadly no where near me has all 3 items available

I found this stand is not great for the gearstick, it’s almost like a hole is needed to be drilled for it because it kept slipping off the stand and does not grip well

Hopefully it’s better than my flimsy folding table that I’m using.

Mine only came yesterday so I haven’t adjusted it yet but you have to adjust the settings in each game as they’re very different apparently.

My brother has the PS4 version and recommends YouTube to see how others have done it.
Great price for the stand at £49.99

Same, wouldn't be so bad if they reduced the bundle by £35 due to lack of gearstick

No gear stick problem for me too.

I'm in no rush
I’ve just put this wheel back, great Force feedback and it appears well made, but the inability to change the standard 900 degree wheel rotation is a killer for me.

You can obviously change in SOME games, and it’s fine, but there are so many games out there that don’t have wheel support and trying to turn the set degrees in an arcade game for example is a pain, like trying to turn a bus!

Getting the Thrustmaster TMX, it allows on the fly wheel rotation adjustment.

That’s not play, it’s called lag, and it’s normal.

Switch to a view which doesn’t show the dash steering wheel.

She. But yes. It felt clunky and horrible when I tried it on Forza 4 yesterday but I think that’s because I haven’t set it right.
I have this entire bundle. It’s a good starter driving sim. Or perfect for someone who will use it a couple times a month. It’s a gear driven system which is an inferior system compared to belt driven.
Could somebody please confirm this bundle is PS4 Pro compatible?. It says Xbox and P.C.
*Edit - you can just swap the G920 out for a G29. No shifter near me, sadly.

Surprisingly I have it instock near me but I don't want it. Everything I want has been out of stock at Argos for very long time.

Have a dive in the tv settings to make sure you are have “game mode” enabled. Many many modern TVs suffer awful lag on normal settings. You may not notice on other games so much as with the wheel.
Might not be the cause but worth a look if you haven’t already

Horizon 4? I find that more difficult to get right, but FM7 I have perfect. If you want I can share settings
Had some of my best ever racing fun with this wheel attached to a playseat.
Unbelievably tempted, but no gearstick and no reduced price because of it.

Same. It's almost as if Argos launched this bundle with a VERY limited stock of shifters.
I have the Logitech driving controller for PS3 anyway to make it work on ps4 anyone???

I actually play in dashboard view most of the time.

Then your setup it incorrect, as I've owned a G27/G29 and the G920 wheelsz along with a Fantatec wheel and none have had the issues you speak of. All have had perfect 1-1 tracking with excellent precision.

Thanks, forgot about checking on youtube
I've got the G27 which is essentially the same wheel sans ps4/xbone support. I find it works great on games like assetto corsa, pcars, rfactor 2 etc but can feel a little numb with games like forza.

Thanks, I didn't realise the settings changes would be game by game. Will give it a good look over later this weekend. Its mainly for Dirt Rally that I want to make the changes as I'm finding it almost impossible to keep on the courses

It’s been on offer for a while was £209.99 just after Christmas and then went up to £229.99. And has reduced down again today.
The amazon page for the stand shows a place for the shifter, doesn’t look like there’s one on the Argos page.
Wish I could justify getting this. Just don’t have the time to use it.

I can't remember if the console versions give you the option of have a full 900 degrees rotation but definitely don't do that. I found that 270 degrees was enough but I'm sure Dirt 4 or Dirt Rally already preset to that but make sure it's that.

A hole has been drilled, well two of them actually. You just been to put a couple of bolts in them, same for the other two bits.

yes, but in my area they are out of stock of shifter (delivery as well), and as a result you have to pay full price for wheel and stand at £234... so not a great deal unfortunately, unless they have all in stock in your local Arogs.

I think even if the wheels had super glue, chains and were welded to the tarmac I'd still come off the road in Dirt Rally. Try it on the PSVR if you have the kit it truly is puke inducing.
