Hot for £13 delivered.

Nice price, I ordered one, thank you.

Nice price ordered, but have they now fixed the massive firmware issue on these?

What was the issue?

Controls 4 devices, a bit on the low side for me, but would suit plenty others. good price.

Ordered one last week but it wouldn't sync with any of my PCs so I returned it.

is this the same as the 300i? does the 'i' mean anything?

got this for 16 pounds last week from play

ordered when they were £14.99 lst week, worked for 3 days now fecked, firmware problems!!! will be retuning

Yes its the same, the 300i just has the glossy black finish were as this is matt black.

One is shiny, one is matt finish, ,otherwise the same.

to bad that harmony one doesn't come in matt finish

Superb cheers for the info!

I have never in my life been able to get one of these to work. They are a great idea but flawed.

My 300i works fine (cost £30 though), but I've seen loads of firmware issues on the 300, so I don't know if they are a little different internally. Will test the 300 when it arrives.

LOL I paid £20 second hand a couple of months back, no problems with it so far....

Logitech posted a fix for borked 300's. This may help. From Logitech forums.

forums.logitech.com/t5/…732

I would like to confirm what some of the previous posters have already found out. The issue with the Harmony 300 only blinking the My Devices buttons has been fixed. If your remote is affected, please follow these steps to restore functionality.

1. Remove one of the batteries from the remote.
2. Hold down the Power button and reinsert the battery.
3. The remote will repeatedly blink the ‘My Devices’ buttons three times to signify it is ready to Sync
4. Go to MyHarmony.com and log into your account.
5. Connect the Harmony 300 to the USB cable and click Sync. The firmware will be applied to the remote.

I have ordered - i want a fairly simple one of these - this should fit the bill i think

just wondering though - would this model be able to do timer/macro functions - would like to leave record things automatically with a non-freesat recorder

this doesnt do macro support does it? So If I want one-touch to change the input on an AV receiver, switch the TV to a different input source etc it doesnt do it right?

In which case, what should I look for.. an old 525?

If this remote lets me swap AV input on my TV then I'll buy it. So far I haven't be able to find a remote that can do it and pressing the AV button on the side of the TV to swap inputs takes forever.

if you have a sky remote that is synced to your tv then press "TV" then "help" to swap AV inputs. I didn't know this until my 2 year old worked it out for me

Hot from me, ordered - thanks OP
