good price but the tenner more 555 from amazon may be a bit better if you stretch the extra money

Logitech are good at keeping information secret about their RCs. Very difficult to get any info on this remote control and find out what the difference really is between the models 515, 525, 565, ONE. Some reviews say this is a cheapo RC with creaking buttons, but whats more important how does this one differ from the "ONE", which cost three times as much. Is this really different from a RC for £3 from Netto? What more do I get with this remote which I don't get with any cheap programmable remote?

Will this do ps3?

Yes if you buy the PS3 adaptor.

Why the 555? What's better? To me they all look the same and are supposed operate 5 tv/sat/pvr sets.

The 555 actually controls up to 15 decives, it might sound like overkill but some people may have more that 5 devices that they want to control in their living room. The 555 also has more programmable buttons as well as a motion sensor. Basically it means the backlight comes on as soon as the remote is moved while with the 515 you have to press a button.

Theres a nice comparison and explination on:

The Harmony One has a colour touchscreen and rechargeable battery with dock. I'm after one, but unfortunately I missed the play.com deal earlier in the year.

Seems more people prefer the 525.... and reviews have more people moaning on the 555

Really good price .

These can be pretty tricky to setup- everything normally needs to be done through computer and so on but once you get it setup they are really good.

Gave one to my parents at crim - they still waiting for me to go back up home to set it up for them!
