This link actually shows the one from the market place but when you click on [B]7 used & new available from £31.0/B] you will see the amazon one with free super saver delivery
here amazon.co.uk/Log…B8D
sorry i cant get the link to work

ordered this last week, delivery said 3-5 weeks it was delivered in 3 days. Very good remote.

This was listed about a week ago at £36.00 from Misco

Try MISCO if Amazon have no stock - they had no stock last time and I suspect things will not have chaged !

Ooo that's mean :x I ordered mine last week too and STILL showing "Delivery Estimate: 26 Jan 2009 - 11 Feb 2009 " (I wanted control of those extra devices above those of 515 that was featured here last week).

Still showing "Usually dispatched within 3 to 5 weeks" for new orders... while hopefully go behind mine in the queue

Pretty rich coming from someone who CANNOT READ THE OP.

Rainforest does have a point, every time I see one of your comments, it invariably contains the famous words "voted cold".....

Everyone else - these ARE still showing in stock, and if the OP didn't make it clear enough already:

The Amazon link is on the right hand side under "more buying choices".

Oh dear lord, the Whizzkid police strikes again....

You fail to realise one thing, you are still able to order, its a stonkingly good price, its not out of stock...it has a lead time is all....

Kind of like before xmas they were selling the HDMI/Optical lead for the Xbox 360 for £14 odd...took 4 weeks before it was despatched, then it went back up to £35 odd......some deals are worth the wait for some people.

If people are prepared to wait the lead time, and like Logitech Harmonys (and boy are there some haters on here of them!....dont know why when they dont recommend anything better...probably because there isnt) its a deal.

But whizzkid is the HUKD police, as much as Whizzkid post deals, Whizzkid is the first to state duplicate posts or item not in stock, or posted just 2 weeks ago etc etc....should be made a moderator I think! lol.

An item OUT of stock means you are unable to order...you can order here, as said above its a lead time...its a great price...like b4 xmas with the Xbox HDMI kit at £14, It was the same lead time, I was prepared to wait and saved a load of money...geez.

To be fair to whizzkid, i'd personally class 3 - 5 weeks lead time as 'Out of stock currently'.
If you're in no rush then order it and wait it out.
If however you actually need one rather than ordering it 'just cos it's cheap', then i'd pay a bit extra and order it elsewhere.

On the Harmony remotes themselves: I received my recently ordered 515 yesterday and it's a fantastic piece of kit!!!
I had it up and running for 4 devices in 27 minutes from opening package to having it all configured!!

I prefer the harmony one, but all the same if you don't want to spring for a £90+ remote (and I know plenty who didn't ... :-D) its a good deal.

Ordered mine on 28th December, not yet dispatched. Guess some people are luckier than others with delivery times...

wouldn't it be nice if people used tis site to help others get good deals and save money instead of trying to score points off one another

Well credit where its due with Amazon (and I dont give Amazon much credit) they tend to be overly cautious on lead times for items to be despatched.

My wife as one of my xmas gifts ordered me the Xbox hdmi kit that had a 3-5 week lead time the 2nd week of December and wasnt expecting it before xmas, it arrived 23rd December, less than 3 weeks after ordering, and the price had then tripled on Amazon.

So in fairness to the OP...those that can wait, dont delay for Amazon to put the price up, I still class this as NOT out of stock, just a lead time on when stock arrives from the supplier. Try going to Comet et all and clicking on an item out of stock, it wont let you order!

If it was out of stock it would say (here's the surprising bit):

That's a pretty big clue

True, the deal is hard to spot as it looked to me first as it s well hidden i was looking to get the 515 but since it s gone unavailable i thought this deal would help ppl like me with only £4 extra than the 515 u can control up to 12 devices unlike the 515 which only control 5 devices

excellent units i brought one for less then this off amazon back in end of nov.
but as due to long wait...im nto going to vote...although amazon have told me 2weeks before and it arrived 3 days later!

I don't normally get involved in this dross, but as an Amazon Prime customer if the item is not out of stock, why can't I have it delivered Thursday?

Do these universal remotes work with a Virgin cable box? (I would guess 'no' but but thought I'd ask just in case)

does it work with the Sony DAV-DZ260 5.1 Cinema System?

After all I've paid for this service. I'm quite happy to accpet the item is out of stock and await delivery, but as you have now HIGHLIGHTED the item is in fact in stock, why can't I have my delivery.

Because it all depends on your meaning of In Stock our Out Of Stock, I presume its not available for shipment directly from one of Amazons warehouses, but they have stock ordered for delivery into the warehouse, so its available to order as they have stock allocated.

All I can really say is why bother being an Amazon prime customer, paying £50 a year for such a farcical "service" Doesnt actually improve the postal system, you are just paying a premium for Amazon to speed up the despatch process of any item in stock at their warehouses.

Yes.

It will control virtually any ir device. If its not in the logitech database it will learn the commands anyway. Most things are tho.

the 525 on Misco.co.uk has gone up from £31 to £47 + del

That's the very definition of 'out of stock' surely??!!
Every site on the net that lists an item as 'out of stock' has to order it from a supplier, that's what amazon are effectively doing in this case!! :?

Be warned: it will drive you mad setting it up. If you want to risk your sanity then go ahead

In stock, out of stock... its still an utterly terrible remote!!! I have just got rid of mine after very little use, even though it is a good price its not really worth £30 in my opinion. No vote from me.

Edit: The Harmony One on the other hand is very good

Ive got this device and had it a few years. its great to remove clutter of all remotes, but it lets it self down with the delay, sky and my tv remote u can press buttons and instantly reacts, this remote delays it by upto a second which can get very annoying...

Thats a daft comment. The remotes use exactly the same software and can both do the same things so to say the 525 is rubbish is ridiculous. I've got both, the ONE for downstairs and 525 for up. The one is better built and a better feel but for £35 ish the 525 is a bargain.

You need to adjust the delay settings mate. I'be got sky set at 0ms delay and its identical to the original.

Not if you signed up to the months free trial in mid-December, did your shopping on Sunday morning and started receiving deliveries on Monday morning with all 19 presents by Tuesday, wrapped and labelled under the tree :-D.
Then cancel before the ******s start charging after 30 days...it's a fabulous service if you use it economically.

3-5 weeks is out of stock...are you people crazy with your understanding?
They may have a supply chain with a 3-5 weeks estimate...but that means the stock is somewhere else up the chain, maybe a few steps up and simply promised to them.
It's not "in stock" by any reasonable understanding of the term.

I am not refering to the software, which is fine although a little basic. I am refering to the very bad build quality, feel of the button press, delay which even though is editable doesn't make any difference and incredably temprimental nature of it. So in my opinion it is one of the worst remotes I have ever used and I have had a lot of remotes.

I also said that it IS a good price, but disagree its a bargin in that I would not pay that much for one having experienced one.
