Does this do the BTVision box aswell?

Same price at Dixons for those who prefer bad service to world domination.

If you go to the Logitech site, on the product page:
]http//ww…,en

Under the "Features" link there is a compatibility check where you can see if any device you have will work.

Can 100.00% recommend these gizmos. I have a 525 (as don't need to manage so many devices), and friend a 555. Far better than a couple of Kameleons from the past. When friend's didn't quite control his TV/Blu-ray/amp in a 100% reliable sequence, we got SUPERB telephone support from Logitech, with them escalating it to the worldwide technical support centre within a few hours and support that made sure we were 100% happy with the way they got it working! (I liked it so much have bought a second 525 for another room with 5 devices that need controlling.) You MAY find you only need the 525 and can save a fiver currently at Amazon by buying that model.

Incidentally dont think of these as remote controls, think of them as remote controllers... with their 'macro' type of feature ("Activities") making complex/boring/confusing switching of items on in sequence, and setting all the correct inputs and items to a particular menu or whatever, a complete "one button" doddle.

You can get both - world dominating bad service...

I ordered a remote at a good price from the Currys website once - they send ANOTHER remote. Then they corrected it by sending that SAME wrong one despite being 100% aware of their error. Then they corrected it by sending that SAME wrong one a third time despite being 100.00% aware of their error!

It takes DSG to deliver service like that :whistling:

Think people have to be a bit doolally (as my grandmother used to say) to deal with them voluntanarily.

(For those unaware DSG is the group including world leaders such as Dixons, Currys, PC World, Pixmania and others.)

Why would I buy it from Amazon when Misco have it with an extra 3.5% cashback?

Have I missed something?

I actually need a new 'universal' remote. Is this worth it? Or should I spen a little extra for a good one.

I want to be able to control
1) my xbox 360 (i.e. save the extra £19 for the xbox version)
2) my samsung TV (only use one button to change the source)
3) my JVC surround sound

POSTAGE & PACKAGING which pushes it up to £49.63 !

Incidentally I think you will find these are "good ones" - just that you don't have a total/big context sensitive display panel and/or beyond infra-red control with these.
