£125 for a remote control! What does it control the Moon?????

face-palm....

obviously not a clue about certain things.

Well worth the cash if you have a suround sound and several inputs. This is the pricier version that has RF abilities meaning that it can control systems like Bose that use them.

For me it cut me down from 6 remotes (TV, Sky, Xbox, AV amp, HD-DVD, Blu-ray) down to 1. Plus it is rechargable, saving 6 sets of batteries and annoyance when they run out!

I've got the slightly cheaper but very similar Harmony One

Good price

cracking deal. Will be upgrade to my one. Cant afford the original price on this. Now the coloured buttons will be easier to get too.

woah..£125 for a remote? Id want it to wipe my **** and wake me with coffee in the morning for that. You could buy a new school in Africa for that.

great for people who have a woman in their life and don't have the time to fix it when they start unplugging cables.

OP you forgot to write 'Poor people need not apply' in the post to avoid comments like we've already seen..

I guess you drive around in a 1 litre Micra or something? Just because something is top of the range and expensive does not mean it is for "saddos with small genitals and no female contact". I guess you think the same of Supercars, people that fly Business Class, people that buy the premium brands in the supermarket? These all do the same things as the cheaper alternatives but that doesn't stop people from buying them. How ignorant.

It's normally the other way round....anything more than one remote to control electrical stuff and the women i know don't seem to have a clue which one to use!

Should get 5% Quidco too.

Is this the one that includes the RF extender - so I can site the extender in the cupboard with my hi-fi, DVD player and surround amp and don't need to open the door to operate them?

While I'd agree with those who argue it's a lot for a remote, I have a stereo system worth several thousand pounds which is now over 20 years old and hooked up to a DVD player, my TV and a surround amp. Making that work is complicated and requires several remotes. Replacing the stereo with an equally good surround system would cost about 10k. This seems like a reasonable solution to my problem. Personally I think most smartphones are obscenely expensive for something I wander about the street with and regularly drop, but I don't criticise those who feel they must upgrade their iPhone 4 for the latest 4s because it's had some of it's buttons moved to a better place and a marginally better processor added. OK, I just did. Feel free to criticise me for spending over £100 on a remote. God knows my wife will!

This is the 100th deal I have posted woooooo

Seems to be sold out now!

Damn it, they must have only had a few.....out of stock already

is it infra red? Just asking as i would need it to control my ps3 which is bluetooth

It is infra-red and this model is also RF. You can buy a bluetooth adapter for the Harmony remotes.

Anyone got a link to a case for this? At the price, I will need to make sure it doesnt get scratched! Will have to cut a screen protector to size for it.

too much for a REMOTE full stop

I think it's unfair to condemn this as a product purely because it's an expensive remote control. A lot of people find good value in this and if it's the cheapest around then it's hot!

Personally I'm happy with multiple remotes, but if it's a good deal then it should be hot

voted cold as I thought I was getting a "top of the range" remote control.

Screen protectors are available for a small fee.

Sarky uneducated comments are free.

I've got 2 H Ones and a dead One in need of repair, I love them.

Its out of stock now anyways...

Shame... great bit of kit.... Had an 885 for the last 5 years and it's a fantastic bit of kit....
This one adds Rf for that extra touch of class...

currently have 9 bits of kit controlled with one remote honestly the value for money of these things is off the scale when you work out the years of use available from them. the macro stuff is great and when I set mine up back in the day the support was first class.....

But clearly £125 on a remote isn't for everyone lol....
