oh come on ... why cold ?

This is over 10% cheaper than anywhere else. It is one of the best universal remotes on the market, has received good reviews.

its rather exspensive dont you think? nearly £90 for a remote control? i would neve pay it use the ones that come with the devices

Especially cause two other cheaper models have been posted yesterday (both from Amazon as well) - ok they're not as fancy as this one (and the 515 can only control 5 pieces of equipment) but almost £90 is pulling it a little.

Although in saying that I've not voted either way

Saw this on amazon yesterday and nearly got one.

Since then I've seen it on here, then the post arrived and T3 magazine was there, opened it and saw the advert for this. It's like it's stalking me or maybe it's a sign :?

anybody able to compare this to the harmony 885?

Granted, for a remote, £90 is a chunk of cash. However, it one of the top rated universal remotes - striking a balance between features & cost. At the end of the day it comes down to your personal budget.

Also, irrespective of the the cost, it is a good deal. This model sells for a lot more else where on the web.

Anyway, its up to you folk.... . I bought one anyway because I'm a complete gadget freak

The 885 doesn't have a touch screen for a start.

i bought this when amazon had it for £79.99 a couple of months ago, i love it, feels alot more classier than my poundland-esque 525.

Get it!

Had the Harmony One for 3 months now and its brilliant! :-D

Ok its expensive for a remote but it is worth it!

Bit in depth to set up, depending on how many devices you want to control, but just stick at it and it will be worth it.

Even the wife loves it, say's its the best gadget I've brought yet! (mind you, didn't tell her the full price!):whistling:

RRP £100 ???
having a laugh a remote cost 100 quids?
sorry freeezing !!!!!

Bought one at £79.99 couple of weeks back. So good, wanted one in bedroom. Couldn't get it for less than £95 last week, then it dropped to this price and got my second one yesterday!
Only problem - you can't use 2 remotes with same user on computer - had to set up second username!

You've never used a Harmony activity based remote have you? All eight of my other remotes are now in a box in the loft.

With a single button press my Harmony 885

turns on TV
sets correct TV input
turns on Sky+ box
turns on amp
sets amp input

I tried the One but stuck with my 885 as i prefer the hard buttons for the red, green, yellow & blue.

Good price for a Harmony One though.

No i havent and for £90 i wouldnt watse my hard earned cash either rather spend it on something more worthwhile. im happy with my sky remote lol the only other remote i use is my dvd player i couldnt justify paying that price for a remote when the ones i have are capable

Although ive never even seen one demonstrated and i dont know what it can do so ill reserve full judgement

Hot.... bought one a full 24 hours previously....

Bought one of these. A late xmas present for myself.

agree 100%.
just because you don't want to press 2 little buttons on remote to watch movie i could not
justify wasting £90.
if i have millions in bank than i probably think about it! (i suppose in that case i wouldn't be
hunting for bargains here!)
sorry chaps!

WIsh i had the $$ to get one now.. Hot deal as they are fetching well over 100 on other sites and on fleabay.
