I've been looking to upgrade/replace my Harmony One for ages and this is surprisingly the best price I've found online. It's between £200 and £230 most places.

It's a great remote, no line of sight required and controls PS3, Wii U, Roku really well. It's a clever piece of kit.

The Logitech Harmony Ultimate Universal Remote Control is an incredibly versatile tool that gives you new and exciting ways to control all your home entertainment devices.

In perfect harmony

The Harmony Ultimate gives you the control you need and deserve. This great remote control includes the Harmony Hub RF receiver, which converts the RF signals it send out into IR and Bluetooth commands, facilitating control of your Bluetooth devices.

Access your home entertainment system, IR devices and games consoles such as PS3, Wii or Xbox 360 with ease, even though cabinets and walls. Enjoy access to internet services like Netflix and Hulu right on your console. You'll even be able to use your mobile phone as a powerful, personal universal remote control.

Powerful entertainment control

The Harmony Ultimate Universal Remote offers exclusive features which make it remarkably powerful.

Able to control up to 15 items and compatible with over 225,000 home theatre devices, it uses patented Smart State technology which remembers device power and input settings, automatically adjusting them according to what you want to do.

Harmony app for a customisable remote control

Turn your smartphone into a personal universal remote with the optional Harmony App, downloadable from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

This app gives total personal control to anyone in the house and including 50 favourite channel icons and one-touch activity control. It gives you especially powerful and intuitive features that give new meaning to the term remote control.

Use long or short presses to programme the buttons on the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Remote Control, giving you double the options. Tilt sensors automatically light up the 2.4” colour touchscreen to make it easy to see what you're doing in dark rooms.

Swipe and tap across the display to change channels, adjust volume levels and fast-forward or rewind. The screen is fully customisable, and you can personalise a list of favourite channels that's accessible with a single tap.

With gentle vibration responses, you'll know when a screen button is being pressed, sparing you the need to take your eyes off the action.

Easy to set up and use

Link the Logitech Harmony Ultimate to your Mac or PC and visit the myharmony website for a guided setup that walks you through the process step by step. If you're a Harmony One user, you can use your current device and activity settings to further simplify the setup process.

Dim the lights, turn on your TV, start your DVD and set the tone with one touch of the Harmony Ultimate Remote. It allows you to set the hue lights to the perfect brightness and colour for any mood and activity.

When you're not using the remote, simply place it in the included charging station to keep it charged and within easy reach.

Experience complete palm-of-your-hand command of all your entertainment devices with the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Universal Remote Control.

why so cold?

why so cold?

Because when all is said and done, it's ONLY A REMOTE.

I bought a different model Harmony. Boy what a mistake that was. it was completely reliant on codes that other users had worked out and uploaded onto the website. You then downloaded those for your various equipment and had to link with your Harmony remote by USB to program them in.
However only half of our TVs had any sorts of codes, at all. And even then, it was completely arbtirtary what the individual who had uploaded them had assigned to each key - and then, they'd only bothered with the basic functions.
There was a search tool on the website to check if your models of equipment were "supported" (but it wasn't support - it was only a few random codes: on-off/change channel/volume and whatever else the guy had uploaded), but the search facility was rubbish and difficult to use.

And, as I said - it's only a remote.

Voted hot, is a good price for the ultimate version.

So by your logic all ps4 deals should be voted cold becuase they're JUST A GAMES CONSOLE. Might as well buy an Atari instead. Not suprisingly it has moved on quite a bit since having to enter codes.

That makes no sense. The comparison is more like between a PS4 and another PS4 at 10 times the price, which does all the same things as a normal PS4 - but has a very vocal fanboi following who's main interest is merely amassing gadgets for their own sake, simply because they can.
Still, I suppose this goes nicely with the Oxygen free cables and the gold-plated fuse holders and all the other gubbins that "experts" buy, simply because they think expensive == good.

My harmony works fine----just choose one at a price you can afford--I bought one for £30 two yrs ago and still enjoying it

I don't mind the cold, for those that want one it's a cracking price for this remote, only £9 dearer than the Ultimate One/Touch that doesn't have the hub.

For me it's a thing of lovliness that transforms my viewing pleasure from something akin to having a car with four steering wheels to, erm, a car with, erm, one steering wheel! I think once you've had a groovy remote, it's really hard to go back, because, they're just so darned clever and easy.

This one doesn't use codes, you program it via software to be just how you like, which is geeky fun for me.

Downstairs, it controls everything in the front room, including acting as a wiimote for the Wii U, bluetooth controller for PS3 and IP control for the Roku, which displays all the channels on the remote itself and best of all no line of sight needed, so equipment can be hidden away.

Just because you don't know how to set them up properly doesn't mean they are no good !!

Voted hot.
it is a lot of money for a remote, but they are usually a lot more. I have the old Harmony one and its great.

Great deal. removes the clutter of all the other remotes. its easy to add additional buttons and easy to code it. been using harmony remotes for a few years and unlikely to change back

I was a bit wary coming from the lovely Hamony One, but this is a great upgrade, both functionally and technologically too. I'm kind of glad I accidentally stood on the other one now, but don't mention that to my wife, okay.

Great product. People shouldn't vote cold because they don't like something, only if it's a bad deal. 30% off for someone who is interested is a good deal on this, I've not seen it cheaper. This is fantastic product that replaces 8 of my remotes with a single easy to use one. It takes the complexity out of systems with many devices.

I've had this for around a year now, when it was on a deal from Amazon for £112. It's a great remote, not only because of the decluttering of remotes. With this, I hit the Watch TV on the remote and in will turn on the TV, SKY box and the AV receiver, all together....

This can still be found cheaper direct from Logitech logitech.com/en-…Agw which includes free shipping.

or I'm sure it was around £130'ish on Amazon.

The one on Logitech and Amazon at a cheaper price are the "Ultimate One" not the "Ultimate". The "ultimate one" does not come with the hub, it'd the cheaper version.

a remote is a remote surely!

Could you not use your original remote to program any missing functions?

Certainly not for me it's not, it's amazing how streamlined and easy this make things for the whole family and visiting grandparents alike. It becomes like an invisible tool and man, I sound like one writing that!

That's the Ultimate One on the link, not the Ultimate, it doesn't have the hub as well, which you'd have to buy separately for about £70.

How does it not make sense??.

They both play games but one is more advanced and has more features. Just like your bog standard remote, controls your tv. But the harmony is more advanced and gives you more features.

Finally added Sonos capability too. Hot but not purchased.
