Am I right in thinking this device will stop me having to occasionally …Am I right in thinking this device will stop me having to occasionally pick up another remote? And will also save me about 5 inches squared space on my coffee table? For only £80!?

Sounds like you're not the target market for this device

For me, it saves the juggling of remotes for the TV, Blu-Ray, NVidia Shield, Virgin box, AV amp and Projector. Combined total approx. 80 inches squared of coffee table space and the total removal of a constant in my ear when the family try to put on a movie

Can't put a price on peace

Im after just the hub, does anyone know if Harmony do a specific hub for this remote? or do they just do one that fits all?

I noticed theres a new hub out which is operated with your smart phone, not sure if this hub is the same as the old one or not?
Had mine over a year. Best thing I ever bought for my TV setup. Easy to setup, works with you're phone. Even Alexa works with it. I've tried 2 or 3 different harmony's and this is hands down the easiest to setup.
i'm new to the universal remote but would this replace the remote for tv, BT you view and apple tv 4 remotes then ?
I have this remote and its really good, but I wish I got the better version. It is expensive... But this one just feels a bit cheaper and has odd button placement. The screen is also very cheap feeling...

I know it sounds like I'm saying it's bad, but it's not... Its just the better one is really so much better.

Hmmmm, will have to give it some thought then as i do like a gadget
What does this have over my smart Samsung remote? I'm yet to find something it can't control connected to the hub on my TV. I'm guessing this is what people get, to have that experience?
I'm thinking of buying an LG TV. The remote has a Wii type cursor. Can this control the LG cursor?
If you don’t know what the harmony range can offer then you probably don’t need one lol. I’ve had mine for years, great for programming macros. The hub is s great idea as you don’t need line of sight between the device and remote, not to mention the Alexa integration.

Magic remote- no , don't think it does. That being said I don't use mine that much as you can do everything with a standard remote
Great price and tempted but only really need the hub myself
Good price but the play/stop/rw/ff buttons are in a really annoying position on the Ultimate.

Yes, I got the Elite and sold my Ultimate, but at this price it's going to be worth it for a lot of people as it's less than buying a 950/hub solution or even just buying a hub!

I'm considering getting it again for the playroom as was going with a 950 solution in there. Now it works with the PS4 (although can't turn it on!) it's tempting to get a second.
Does this work with netflix on TV?

Yes, I use it with my smart TV.
Great remote and used it for over a year, although I've just upgraded to the elite version (amazon prime deal), as previously mentioned with better button placement and feels overall higher quality.

Bargain!

Seriously though. I am sorely tempted because it is a great price but then I remind myself that not only I can control my TV with my BR player remote and vice versa, but If I switch on my TV, my amp switches on. If I switch on my BR player then my amp and TV switch on.

Saying that, if this was say 40 quid then...?

Not really, there’s a big ergonomic ‘lump’ on the back of the remote. I find if I want to use the buttons at the top I just position the remote lower in my grip when I pick it up and the ‘lump’ facilitates this very well

Basic question....

Would this only work in line of sight of the relevant boxes (Sky Q, Apple TV etc) or could the hub go in another room and control them via that?

Well put - that's about the sum of it really. Thank you for saving me £79 - but I hate you for the stress and angst caused by occasionally having to lift another heavy remote from the table which sits as far away from my sofa as 10cms and the sheer waste of space on it you've caused. Is there a counselling service I can turn to perhaps?

This is not a ‘one 4 all’ type remote, it’s an ‘activity’ based remote. 1 button press turns my TV on, turns the AV receiver and amp on, turns whatever source is required for the activity (receiver, Zgemma, Xbox etc.) and dims my lights (if on) all without having line of sight with the remote allowing the AV devices to be in another room/cupboard/rack etc
Any Elite owners reading this that can offer a comparison against the One? Come November we've used the One for 10 years and I wonder what to replace it with, it's starting to crumble.
I have an LG TV and a Revo Superstystem all-in-one system sitting under the TV. Love them both, but the remotes clash, so that various functions on one remote turn off the TV, or change source, or just stuff things up generally.

Bit of a long shot, but is there anything that this remote could do - does anyone have this and managed to use it to get around a remote clash?

I've spoken to Revo and they said there's not a lot I can do.
It’s easy to oversimplify these as saving a little effort in remotes. The programmable sequences are great, I’ve got the elite and have things set up for all sorts between heat, lights, devices, inputs, channels, plugs etc and likewise close down sequences, so when we watch a film in winter it sets heat, colours and dims lights, turns th phone off to prevent interruptions, checks the doors are locked, stops any sonos playback, switches everything on and moves them to the correct input etc, turning them off will raise the lights and switch them back to white.

Nothing you can’t do manually but saves a huge amount of work automating it all and helps girlfriend use the remote property rather than needing to lean different ones for sky, receiver, tv, nvidia shield etc

woukdnt go back.
Got the elite & hub for £129 prime day.
I ended up with the Elite on Prime Day and it's managed to replace 6 remotes!

Samsung TV
BT TV box
Apple TV gen4
Kinvo switcher
PS4
Samsung Bluray
Humax DVR

oh and it works with my Philips Hue lights too.

Highly recommend it, even if the wife sneaks out the old remotes when she cant figure it out
Logitech hub is overpriced, and this isn't 1 of the better Logitech remotes.

I picked up a Broadlink RM Pro for £19.99 with Prime delivery a couple days ago.

It does a whole lot more devices than the Logitech hub can (rf devices!).

I tried posting this as a deal couple days ago but as it's a Chinese based FBA seller the deal isn't allowed.

I bought 1 at £19.99 and 1 from Amazon direct at £36.44 with the intention of being naughty and swapping them but the boxes are stickered with serial numbers. The cheaper device is legit anyway so the Amazon 1 got sent back.

Hub can be operated via Smartphone as it's hooked up to your WiFi. If you really want you could travel to Dubai and turn your TV on using the app. If you want!

Wasn't planning on going that far mate

I was meaning would the remote itself be able to operate if the hub was in the cupboard under the stairs where my boxes are stashed? Or would it be infrared to the hub and therefore not solve it
These are ace and I am not sure the Elite is worth the £30 over the Ultimate never mind the current price difference. Get this if not got one.

Lol at those posts from people who have no clue about how these work and the value of integrating with IOT set up. “Alexa watch plex, Alexa play movie x. Alexa Pause”, as the film stops and lights go up. The future.

Once get the hang of the set up, they are very WAG and kid friendly.
I have had quite a few harmony remotes but I really didn't like this one at all. Screen is terrible, really low resolution and the buttons above the screen in my opinion are badly positioned. I paid £99 for the remote and hub but returned them to amazon. This is a good price if you can get on with it.
Does this offer an "air mouse" type feature?
got the elite and hub last year for around £110

really bad naming for both, elite and ultimate, hard to tell which is better

thankfully ppl here confirmed the Elite

No. It does, however, replicate every button on the remote so it’s perfectly usable for LGs menus. It’ll even replicate the Netflix hotkey.
doppers11 h, 15 m ago

Yes. If your smart TV has a Netflix button or shortcut, it’ll replicate it. These things are also infinitely programmable so you can make it do all sorts of flash things.
