This is £13.

Yep hot, even got one myself couple weeks back. But where you get £89 rrp from clart?

The average full retail for these was around £50 not £89

And they are £35 on amazon link

unsure which one is being sold by Asda, but there are a few different variants of this type of Logitech iPad case - one in particular was certainly going for £79 or so a year ago

thanks, cheers

I've got to say the original price is too high. A few months go you could have got a bluetooth keyboard with a dual core tablet for just over £80

But that does not have an Apple logo on the back How can I boast to all my friends how cool I am because I own an Apple device?

The magnetic version is £90, although you can pick them up for around £80.

If its the magnetic version you would be foolish not to buy it.

Who wants a dumb Apple gadget that functions flawlessly, has a fantastic screen, great software support and is totally stable?

BuyItLoveIt on Ebay have them for £49.99 - I just got one and it's great. 'Refurb' but had clearly been opened, used once and put back in the box.

Me. As I have all of the above with my nexus 7, for a fraction of the price.

I bought this about a year ago and paid this ._.

£89!?

Still, good deal.

People who don't have the intelligence to deal with a versatile and open operating system.

People who think a Nexus 7 is better than a retina iPad, clearly haven't used the iPad.

The iPad display is superior to anything I've ever seen, unfortunately though the operating system and performance is what matters to me, having used both, I would choose the Nexus every time, it just feels better. I can't tolerate the locked down Apple crafted experience, paying for virtually every App, or the lest than spectacular hardware spec at premium prices... not when the competition offer so many free apps, high end hardware at reasonable prices and an open OS experience... but each to their own.

DPI of Nexus and iPood in question?

i posted this yesterday and it got voted cold

You don't have to compromise - the Nexus 10 has a fantastic screen. I know, I sold my ipad to get one. Do I miss the 'pad? Not on your life.

Just spoke to my local Asda (Derby) and they've all been sent back today
Apparently it's an uplift (?) which means that all stores will be removing them from the shelves

It pained me to part with so much money for my iPad when there are cheaper alternatives but the screen, performance and quality of the apps available sold it for me. Google Play is like the wild west in comparison to the App Store. I have a rooted Galaxy S3 (stock Android is a nightmare), and even then Android just doesn't touch iOS for stability imo. The 4:3 screen, no expandable storage and iTunes stop it being absolutely perfect, but it's still the best by a long way unless you're willing to shell out for a top of the range Acer.

I tried to buy an iPad ages ago, but the iPhone maps app sent me to a greengrocers :-)

Q. How can you tell if someone doesn't have a new iPhone?
A. They'll tell you a joke about people that do.

will this work with the ipad that has the 2k screen?

Why does everything turn into an Apple v Android debate, each has it's niche and the people not within that niche should really just be quiet and enjoy there choice. Apple is great for people who want something that's a safe self container ecosystem but expect to pay for the privilege, Nexus/Android is great for people who like a degree of freedom, usually at a cheaper price, but with the inherent risks on dodgy apps etc... I prefer the latter but understand the former (although no-one will ever convince me that iTunes is anything other than a great big steaming pile of crud!)
