Great keyboard for using on the sofa , Typing on one right now !!

Have one of these for my Android Box in the living room. It's got an amazing range, batteries last ages and is comfortable to use. Way better than those cheap remotes that come with media boxed. Heat given

Bargain. £30 mark on amazon...

apparently works great on a shield or other android boxes. cheers OP, will have a look at my local big store but not expecting much luck...

Bargain.

EDIT: IGNORE MY REVIEW, kookiee rightly pointed out this is the K400 Plus, I have a plain old K400.

The keyboard is a bit on the rubbery side for the #MechanicalKeyboardMasterRace but it's certainly usable.
Power users may find the key layout annoying at first, with the "up" key between "forward slash" and "shift". But it's not a deal breaker.
The touchpad isn't fantastic, but it's capable of two-finger scrolling and other touch gestures like swiping inwards to change between Metro (Modern UI?) apps. Great for use on the sofa.

I've had one since Black Friday and still haven't had to change the battery. Use it pretty much everyday from the couch. It is very durable and comfortable but the typing feedback is to be desired. Would recommend over other remotes available.

I use one from the couch also, but the range doesn't seem to be that great. It gets a bit jittery across the room sometimes. Might be the x-ray machine I'm eradiating the wife with which is interfering with the signal.

Is there any way to turn off tap to click yet? Got rid of mine for that reason a couple of years back, looking for something similar

If this is the plus edition as advertised then the up key is under the shift key, never felt this was an issue anyhow, and would suspect any power users will be working at a desk with a full keyboard. Have used and like both k400 and plus, dropped lots onto tiled floor but always worked, best keyboards for TV.

Plus has better feel and response on keys and touchpad worth the upgrade from the k400......also find them useful with servers, better than keyboard and mouse in small rack space when you don't have an expensive keyboard/monitor tray.

Mine does not tap to click on k400 plus, think it is disabled by default, i remember on the k400 downloading Logitech software to disable.

Works with a fire stick?

Excellent device.

Have two and also have both the K400 plus and a mouse tied to the unifying receiver.

Battery seems to last forever.

Think some have had success, but probably easiest to stick with a Bluetooth keyboard.....

have 2, could do with 1 more. where is bathgate?

How does that work? Do you need a specific Logitech mouse?

As long as the mouse/device can support connection to the Logitech unifying receiver then it will work.

It pairs via a small piece of logitech software and if I remember correctly you can have 4 or 5 devices connected at the same time through the one dongle.

I have the k400, abysmal range, problems beyond 1m or so without line of sight to receiver for me, a mouse button failed after a few weeks. One of the worst Logitech purchases I've made. Has the plus version improved build quality and range?

It's not without flaws but is still the best in its class

got it in white, direct from logitech for 7,50£ like half year ago, with a discount voucher, and I can say it's a great gadget, works as it should, I recommend it

Great price, it's £26.49 currently on Amazon

I picked one up the other week on Amazon Prime Day for £15.99.
Very happy so far with my purchase.

Sorry, you're right. I have a K400, haven't even tried the Plus. I WAS REVIEWING THE WRONG THING, I HAVE BECOME EVERYTHING I HATE! :'(

I've updated my post.

I have the white one of these and I personally think the touchpad isn't very good and the mouse keys have a horrible response to them.
I have read a lot of glowing reviews of this keyboard and see some talking about the touchpad specifically, so I guess it must be down to personal preference. But it's no-where near the responsiveness you would get from a laptop touchpad.

Obviously its not going to be as responsive as a laptop touchpad. The number 1 reason is that its wireless ( to state the obvious )

Have the k400 for a while, excellent range no problem what so ever. you have been unlucky

I picked up x5 K400r keyboards from Tesco yesterday. £4.25 each. couldn't resist at that price.
They are making room for updated stock apparently.

I prefer my K400r over the Plus model i also have as the arrow keys are better for the likes of kodi.

No more!

Geddit?!

Agreed, i have one of these as a work keyboard and i cannot recommend them for everyday use. I have a k400r as my main keyboard for my home machine and it is better, both in key response and touchpad

Mine goes through walls , maybe there is something wrong with yours..... works perfect for a TV/PC/Xbox

I use these for my Pi and Android boxes, touch pad is much better than others.
