Logitech K750 Solar powered Keyboard for Apple Mac (Not the PC version) (Aluminium / White) - £49.95 @ John Lewis

These normally sell for about £60-£70.

Solar powered and charges well even with our cloudy weather. Will charge from normal lighting in a room and has a 3 month reserve if used in total darkness....

John Lewis is offering it until 17th August at £49.95 which is the cheapest I have found so far. Comes with a 3 year guarantee and you can pick up for free from your local shop or pay only £3 for delivery.

The JL site says PC only but that is a listing error, this is for the MAC version which is in Aluminium and White. The PC version is black is always cheaper, as with most PC things.

There was an ebuyer one cheaper at £39.99 but that price has gone up to £49.98 so this is the cheapest I can find at the moment and from reliable retailer.

Interesting to see members voting it cold when it is the cheapest on the market if you are looking for this item.

Don't know why I bothered.

Maybe it is all the Mac haters out there.

Havnt voted hot or cold. Though I question the design. I thought youre not meant to have your computer/monitor in direct contact with the sun? Does this mean you have to leave it on the window ledge to charge?

It is meant to work with normal light conditions in an office from the sun or lighting. Once charged it will last up to 3 months without further light charging so unless you live in a cave without even a candle, it should be ok.

With a dispatch time of 3-5 weeks from Amazon. That is convenient!

Or go to John Lewis and get it in a couple of days and with a 3 year guarantee.

I don't think it is Mac haters that are voting it cold because the description on the John Lewis states that it is 'PC Only'.
I think the reason is because some people think "No use to me so I'll vote cold".
That's why I stopped posting deals; I felt I was just wasting my time. I just look now - no posts.

Yes - the Logitech website seems to confirm this is for PCs only.

OP - I've given the deal heat as I think it's a good price, but maybe best to edit your title as it's not compatible with Macs.

Shame its got the useless number keypad on the right.

Perhaps because you can get the black version for £10 cheaper from the same retailer (when it's back in stock). Unless you simply must have that solar-powered wireless keyboard today...

The Logitech website says it is Mac compatible, it was designed to be used with Macs hence it being a visual copy of the Apple style.

The JL website has it listed incorrectly. I will test it out when it arrives.

The Logitech K760 is a solar keyboard without the number pad.

Anyone getting this for a Mac should have a look at the Logitech Forum first. There are a number of disgruntled people who have purchased this keyboard which is why I've personally stuck with my Apple keyboard.

These have been £32 at least twice in June with a 20% code for Currys/PC World which is what i paid for mine and thats why i say cold. Perfect typing action on them.

Got it today, is the MAC version and works perfectly. I highly recommend it. The forum issues were with the function key allocation which might have been updated. I only need it for normal keyboard use and the special MAC keys all work well.

If you need a wireless keyboard with numeric pad then this is a good option.

It might have been cheaper in the past if you were lucky but at this moment in time this is the cheapest that is in stock from a reputable retailer with fast delivery/collection.
