This one is a desktop mouse & the other a laptop one so depends if you want a big or a wee mouse

Anybody have any idea of what the renge is that it can be used from the pc? as im wanting to use this in my other room for playing games on my plasma.

Thanks, though I need a mouse that has a range of 5 meters so ill give this one a miss.

I've still not managed to find a mouse that can replace my MX700. It probably has a range of over 5 meters and is an absolutely brilliant mouse, if a little heavy for most people, but it's impossible to get hold of them new now. Shame, as this one is going on 5 years old now, and still running strong.

Voted Cold, Im sure you can get deals with the Mouse and keyboard nowadays for less than that...and wireless aswell.

Replaced mine with a mx revolution. Very happy with it.

I bought one of these from Currys last weekend. Using on my iMac to replace that awful mighty mouse piece of junk.
So far I'm liking it. I use it both left and right handed and have downloaded the Logitech drivers for Mac OS X so I can make the buttons do what I want.

+1

Does this mouse turn itself off when not in use to save battery life or does it need to be turned off manually by pressing a button?

I bought one yesterday and retuned it today. lol

The range on it is pretty poor, like someone else said its about 1meter. I use a Razor mouse mat which is metal and that makes the range even worse, maybe its refelcting the signal or somthing?

Oh and the logitech software doesn't allow you to change any of the buttons to zoom/ magnify like Microsoft does.
