This combo using 2 usb receivers for each device which is not ideal. The picture is a little misleading.
Bought this at the start of the lockdown to work from home, no issues with keyboard or mouse. Good value product

2 for each device? 4 receivers?

I use this set at work - It's 1 receiver to cover both devices. The picture is correct.
It's taken several years of hammer (shiny keys now) and is very light on batteries.

Sorry I meant there was on receiver for the keyboard and one for the mouse when I brought this. Don’t know if that was old stock or non

You must be going back a very long time as i've used Logi keyboards for nearly 16 years and they have only needed 1 receiver to pair both devices

Yep, just plug it in and go. There may be optional software, but you don't need it for normal operation.

These are usually fine on locked down work laptops (mine’s fine and we use DESlock to block our laptop USB ports)

yes, the software is mainly for key customisation, but microsoft will install it's own drivers. Logitech may ask you to download their own drivers for better compatibility.

Yes the mouse uses about 1 battery per year and the keyboard I think I have chamged twice in 5 years with heavy use
Used daily for work and bought from Sainsbury’s when they do their random £13.33 prices.

Never had a problem and the batteries seem to last forever
